When I started my shows back in 2005, C2C along with series like In Search Of...were a great inspiration so I was excited to find this community of paranormally minded folks.

If you are ever in a mood to supplement your paranormal listening please check out my audio podcasts at jimharold.com and on iTunes

Campfire features true ghost stories as told by listeners and The Paranormal Podcast focuses on interviews with paranormal experts and authors.

It is great to know so many love this topic as do I

I hope you'll take a listen!

Jim

coaster

I'll give it a listen. Thanks Jim.

MV/Liberace!

Thanks for the recommendation.

I'm an avid listener of both shows and enjoy them both very much.

The most recent Campfire podcast which featured the tale of the Black Eyed Kid was freaky.  :o

I've been listening to your podcast and I enjoy it.

JimHarold

I think coasties might enjoy this week's Campfire featuring a BEK story, a couple of shadow people stories and an after death communication.

and on iTunes.

Best wishes with your venture, Jim!  I look forward to listening to those campfire stories!

I almost never follow up on such solicitations, but I did with this, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The format is a podcast of calls between Jim Harold and regular folks who have contacted him with their paranormal/alt/UFO stories. It's sort of like what C2C was when it was listenable, or even GhostToGhost. I've only listened to one 39-minute podcast. There are something like 4-5 different stories, and in the middle Harold does a low-key 1-2 minute ad for Amazon's "Audible" online book downloading service. He uses a neat sound effect of a crackling fire to heighten the "campfire" feel.  Otherwise it's just callers, no guests as far as I can tell. Just folks talking to Jim Harold about weird stuff, like Shadow People, Black-eyed Kids, contact from beyond the grave, etc. Very much like C2C except that Jim Harold is a very low-key and relaxed guy and lets folks kind of ramble with their stories. Harold is very easy to listen to, and I think I will listen to some more.

Oh, yeah: Jim Harold is bright and articulate, and quite pleasant to and respectful of his callers and listeners.

* Holy crap. Just listened to another one, in which a caller told of a horse ride in a haunted English forest. The hair is still raised on the back of my neck.

I found it on the Roku a few weeks ago. It's a really good show.

Thanks, Jim.  I thoroughly enjoyed it.  Count me among your regular listeners now.

JimHarold

So glad to see some of you have listened to Campfire and The Paranormal Podcast!  Thanks for the nice feedback!

Just released a double header Paranormal Podcast today.

Part One - Life After Death Project with Paul Davids.

Part Two -- Maybe one of our most controversial shows ever...Mark Hunnemann says the paranormal is the work of...you'll have to listen!

I feel remiss in not checking onto this section of the forum. I've been listening to Jim for a while and I do enjoy his shows. Just wish they were longer. Happy to hear the shout out to us here.

Unfortunately he described CoastGab as "fans of the very popular CoastToCoast radio series".

Technically I suppose it's true: we wouldn't be slamming Noory for being such a cretin if we didn't care about the show. But I just hate that Jim Harold said it, since in the minds of his listeners it puts us in with the mindless Noorons. Of course, if they heard harold's remarks and then visited CoastGab looking for some George love, boy will they get a surprise...

Why is the government so interested in cryptozoology? We have the perfect guest to answer this question...Nick Redfern on this week's Paranormal Podcast (FREE). Please SHARE with your friends! http://jimharold.com/the-paranormal-podcast/monster-files-paranormal-podcast-291/

I've been listening to the Paranormal podcast off and on for a few years now, its a very high quality production. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great podcast.  Another good one is the Conspiracy show with Richard Syrett.

Sardondi

I've listened to something like 5-6 shows now, and I've found some great stories on each podcast. For those of you who have despaired over Noory's complete inability to improve, please listen to just one of Jim Harold's podcasts. You can listen live or choose from among many weeks of previous podcasts. But if you listen once, I think you'll agree that it's what we wish C2C was today.

Your opinions?

Jim, do you still have Clayton on the Paranormal Report? It's been a little while since I've caught your podcast

JimHarold

Clayton left the program about 18 months ago due to family obligations.  All of my audio podcasts continue at JimHarold.com and on iTunes.

On this week's Paranormal Podcast, Anne Serling is my guest.

I agree.  I took them camping with me and listened around the campfire.  It was a lot of fun.

Just found this thread, great show!

JimHarold

Thanks for the kind words!

The newest edition of Campfire was just posted....Ghost Child, Ep 156.  A childlike apparition, a premonition of a car accident, a child recounts a past life, plus I'm joined by a special guest and we review “The Conjuring”.  All this and more on this week’s Campfire!  http://jimharold.com and on iTunes.  Best of all, it is FREE!

Happy Listening!

Jim

I stumbled across the shows a couple of months ago via Google search, looking for a cure for the Jorch Blues.  I'm digging them both, and my wife LOVES Campfire.  Keep up the good work! I'll be signing up for the plus club soon, with the money formerly reserved for C2C Insider.
