Catching an old Dick Van Dyke episode, I suddenly realized I much prefer Buddy Sorrell's wife over Rob Petrie's.

Her character's nickname was "Pickles."  Too much to process as a young caterpillar so long ago.

But now that I have become a full blown Black Witch moth, I easily process the value of Pickles over Laura and her stuck toe in the bathtub faucet.

We never stop growing.

Until we croak.

Keep on keeping it weird!

Good to see you here again. Post often!

Thanks, man.  Always fun to glide through in near Silent Running mode and see what's up.

MV/Liberace!

Have you kicked the Q-tip habit yet?

Say whut?  Cam, I'm sure, in her day, Mrs. Petrie had no problem getting Johnny Staccato to stutter.

Unfortunately, as you so aptly pointed out, her days of growing are sadly no mas.  Feliz Navidad and "yes, we have no bananas."

Heh

George Noory ... the Larry Tate of Late Night Radio.

A letter from Ambrose Bierce to his niece Lora:

Dear Lora,

I go away tomorrow for a long time, so this is only to say good-bye. I think there is nothing else worth saying; therefore you will naturally expect a long letter. What an intolerable world this would be if we said nothing but what is worth saying! And did nothing foolishâ€"like going into Mexico and South America.

I'm hoping that you will go to the mine soon. You must hunger and thirst for the mountainsâ€"Carlt likewise. So do I. Civilization be dinged!â€"it is the mountains and the desert for me.

Good-byeâ€"if you hear of my being stood up against a Mexican stone wall and shot to rags please know that I think that a pretty good way to depart this life. It beats old age, disease, or falling down the cellar stairs. To be a Gringo in Mexicoâ€"ah, that is euthanasia!

With love to Carlt, affectionately yours,

Ambrose.

Hey, hey, naow!  At least Mannix had, eh, some kind of interesting wheels.

Jorch probably has a boring Mercedes or Ma Noory's old Buick.

interesting driver, that Mannix.

Speaking of loco motion.

Let's cut to the chase and combine smart car self driving tech with auto racing and eliminate the human pilots altogether thus truly demonstrating what a non-sport auto racing really is.

Might as well be racing clocked computer processor speeds.  Sexy.

I would rather bet on a bowling game while having the bowling alley's fries and watered down soda served in new old stock 1979 paper cups featuring orange paisley art work.

Dr. MD MD

You’re all out of brownies and apple pie and all the sandwiches are stale. It smells funny in here too. What kind of automat is this?! ???

Nothing has been right since someone stole the giant silver bat-shaped coffee urn we had at the front.... goddamn it.

I'm down with that, as long as I can get a funky IR oven prepped burger with those fries.

Kitala: Love and hate are two horns on the same goat.

-the movie The Vikings, 1958 (based on the novel The Viking, 1951, by Edison Marshall)

Camazotz: The arms of an octopus constitute perfectly the seven deadly sins: pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath and sloth. Selah.

Robert Reader: What about the eighth arm?

Camazotz: The eighth arm means "Shut the fuck up, Bobby."

-Mescaline Memories From the Future, 2029

(The above is presented in case anyone is under the mistaken idea that the }goat quote{ originated with American author Kathryn Stockett's 2009 novel "The Help" and the subsequent 2011 film. How quickly Hollywood forgets. No idea where Marshall got it.)

Maintenance walkthru. Received a report that someone could not retrieve a turkey plate due to a jammed window door.

Automat is now copacetic.

"Whew... that was a close one!  I was about to panic and call Tommee."

Please accept these albino Nazi babies in lieu of Reggie selection. We strive for a complete menu, but some items defy predictable SKU tracking. Thank you in advance for your patience.

Ha!

First off- good to see you around. I was concerned that Corona-Chan had taken you out. Scientists are now saying that it can cause neurological complications- and I assume that means it enters through overly-clean ear canals.  ;)

Now I have to find some place to find some place that sells "Nazi babies." I know of at least two people left who would see the humour in receiving a small bag with a nicely printed tag stating the contents.

Greetings & Salutations, WOTR.

Thus far, the ear canals have not been compromised by the virus.

I'm greatly heartened that I see several familiar handles when I do my "walk throughs". Occultniks might liken it to a wandering spirit performing a "walk in/possession." But I digress.

A great joy to see you, MD, Jack, ITsO, Roswells, et al, who remember me.

I'm like Switzerland.  I treasure all these contacts no matter the dynamics between said contacts.

I do, however, hold severe misgivings for this Liberace character.

He may be a disinformation packet specialist spy, constantly dispersing social engineering waves.

Stay alert.
