I had to put my 10 year old cat Mickey Mouse to sleep yesterday. 3rd cat I've lost to cancer.

It was a rough nite last night. I kept waking up and expecting him to be on my pillow as usual and he wasn't. I was exhausted from crying on and off all evening. I had him since he was a kitten.

My Fluffy cat loves me but he sleeps at my hip. It isn't the same. I lost Mickey's litter mate Mini Mouse 5 years ago when he got run over in front of my apartment building. I know they're both in kitty heaven & I do believe in an afterlife and have seen evidence of it.

RIP my babies.

My heart goes out to you man.  I couldn't imagine losing on of mine but I know the day will eventually come.  An Ex that I still talk to a lot has recently put two of hers down... She's a mess over it.  Cherish the time you had.


My oldest is coming up on 12 years although he shows no signs of age.  I changed their food this week and my youngest now has explosive diarrhea... good times

I'm so very sorry for the loss of your cat. It's such a painful time. I'm glad you have Fluffy to keep you company...and that you had Mickey for all those years. I'm sure he had a wonderful life, and an owner who was able to let him go when it was time.

I'm sorry for your loss.   I recently went through it myself, so I know how hard it is.  Hang in there.
