I think they should get Leonard Nimoy. It only makes sense, and since Vincent Price is no longer with us, I can't think of anybody else that might measure up to Art, coolness-wise. I know these are actors, but that's all I can think of.

Rollye James quit Coast, she has her own radio show for years and didn't like the direction Coast was taking, they were trying to handle her and she wasn't buying, personal opinion I don't think PremRad liked the fact that she promoted her own show all the time and also talked about Art all the time, never heard her mention sNoory, but than why would she, not like she was filling in.  I liked her very much, she is intelligent, well informed and knows how to handle a interview.  http://www.rollye.net/

i agree.  i love rollye james.  i listen to her show from time to time on XM.  and you're right.  her head is filled with so many facts and tidbits it's amazing.  i think there are few people on the radio today as knowledgeable as she is.  i can see how she would throw her hands up in the air as a fill in host of c2c and say TO HELL WITH IT.  i know i would too if some suit started giving me grief.

Excellent choice. He would rock as a host and has the voice and the intelligence for it. I also enjoy it when John Wells is on.

I also listen to her show, love her Friday night format where she has callers try to answer a question, just how dumb are we.   I emailed Rollye after she quit and asked if she felt so inclined to share the real reasons she left Coast, I cannot share her response but it would knock your socks off, the email was four pages long and blew my mind, after being on the radio for close to 40 years she does know a thing or two.

"Art is the Best", cool choice.  I would love Leonard Nimoy to host C2C; even the voice alone would be worth it.  But how old is he now?  As far as Rollye James, I was actually trying to remember who "that lady" host was.  Was she the only one?  I never really cared for her, even though I agree she was an intelligent lady.  I just couldn't dig the voice and I didn't "feel" her interview style. And how come Mike Seigel(?) wasn't in the poll? Not that I would have voted for him.
