After reading all of this, one might wonder if there are any unsolved serial killer type murders in St. Louise and/or L.A?

He was a reporter(?) in an area where a serial murderer roamed. The serial murderer targeted kids, and he bathed and dressed them. They never caught the guy. I didn't think that Noory was behind the killings, but it was funny (strange) that you mentioned it.

It wasn't last night. It was a while ago.

"mom I can't sleep!!! George is BREATHING TOO LOUD"

by far the scariest concept I've ever had to think of... and it was straight from his memoirs.

I'm assuming that they weren't teenagers. In his defense, his house might have been very cramped (shrug).

regardless it's the thought of being unable to sleep because of George Noory's breath... scares the shit out of me

I see what you mean now. I wonder how Tommy deals with it.

One year for Halloween, George said he was going to disguise his appearance, go to a place 'where people know him', sit in a corner,by himself and apparently just hang out and watch.

Or how about the time George said he bought two Talkie Tina dolls from that Twilight Zone episode - one to keep and one to give to his granddaughter.

George said he and his daughter (the girls mother) would move the doll when the kid wasn't looking, denydoing it, and that it scared the crap out of her.  George then laughed and talked about how much kids enjoy being scared.

Or the time George and - I think it was Glenn Kimball - were at a convention together, and George made a big deal at the podium during the event about Glenn needing money, teasing him about whether he was going to actually get paid (or something like that), then giving him his check in front of everybody.

there used to be a video of that floating around

Ah, you have to *hate* those "look at how generous I am, guys" pronouncements of charity. I thought that we weren't supposed to brag and boast about helping other people. I thought that we were supposed to do good deeds in private, not in public where people can notice what "swell folks" we are. I still recall the constant references to "poor Al Bielek", which must have made the man feel great.

Or the time he "fired" LMH on the air.  He told her that after that night, C2C would no longer be able to use her.  She seemed to take it rather hard, not thinking about it being April 1.  sNoory played her along for a while before telling her it was an April Fool's joke.  She has seemed much colder towards him ever since.

We have to get these things compiled into one audio file of creepy. I bet people would be surprised how weird he is.

Did he find critters in his grill? He must have a Noah's Ark full of roadkill. I don't get how a dead and squashed squirrel made its way under his bed.

(Not) George Noory: "I got home and saw a flock of squashed shadow rodents on my couch; I kid you not!"

Presumably time travel was/is/will be involved somehow.

Jorch, always just a "barrel of laughs."  ::)  You can feel the well deserved contempt LMH has for The Nooron.  LMH has a pretty monotonous approach to her paranormal reporting, recordings and all, but at least she's not a complete clown like Jorch.  You can just picture Jorch surfing the web or applying more Kiwi to his crumb-catching 'stash as LMH drones on with her latest reports.  I expect to hear some loud crashing noises some night as Jorch nods-off and falls out of his chair.  ::)

URBAN DICTIONARY
mouthbreather
1. literally, someone who lacks enough intelligence that they never learned to breathe through their nose.

2. a really dumb person.

Yeah, that sounds like Jorch.

There are some people that you should never prank. LMH sounds like one of them. Speaking of April Fool's Day, Noory's Congo brontosaurus joke, and the other ones, fall into the creepy category. It's unsettling that he thinks that the audience is that gullible.

That's a great idea! They have to be heard to be believed.

I'd like to travel back in time to see what brought all that vermin to his house. I would be sure to wear a Hazmat suit.

George's sense of humor has an element of cruelty to it, viz. the one I saw just today in which someone mentioned George's admission that he'd move one of his children's large dolls from place to place in the house throughout the day and then deny having done so, in an effort to frighten the child...which worked. Then there was another I also read today, about a YT vid of a seminar in which George cruelly and inappropriately teased an embarrassed Glenn Kimball about needing money, after which George made a big deal of presenting Kimball with a check.

George loves to dish it out, particularly if he can draw a little blood.

You're exactly right, Sardondi, and he gets defensive when somebody chides him with kid gloves. Do you recall the times that he asked older women to do and/or say ridiculous things? He asked one older woman to do an imitation of Ross Mitchell. I'm sure that other members have other stories.

My friend and I went to a fast food joint when we were college students. I neglected to get cash from an ATM, so I had no money on me at the time. I asked him if I could borrow a few bucks to buy lunch, and he made it seem like I asked for a down payment on a car or a house. It was the last time that I borrowed money from a friend.

I remember there was this one commercial with George on it and he was using this audio clip from a caller saying that his favorite show was some axe murderer show or something horrid like that, I can't remember but that's the impression I got, something about serial killers maybe, and George talks again recommending to listen or subscribe as if the guy had said nothing strange at all. It was psychopathic sounding of George despite his seeming show of disgust at anyone who would kill HIS family members.

That rings a bell. I'm not the best chronicler or journalist of Coast history, though. I do know that he seems to think (wish?) that there are more serial murderers than there actually are. He thinks that they're tied to many missing persons, which is an old wives' tale.

Here's a new one. He just mentioned an old woman, in a nursing home, whose ears were full of maggots. It was so kind and thoughtful of him to share that with us during his "news" segment. BTW, she was suffering from "All-heimers", according to our intrepid reporter.

There's definitely a pattern to George choosing to share grotesque news bits when he can. I seriously wonder why he does that. The poor woman's story definitely needs to be heard but right at the beginning of the show? I can just imagine his tone too...upbeat and excited, then without a pause he launches into a more lighthearted story in his damn news-anchor voice, as if old lady were already forgotten.

It definitely needs to be heard but definitely *not* on Coast. There's a time and a place. You gotta wonder why he doesn't highlight paranormal stories rather than Drudge links. For that matter, he could dispense with the whole news segment.

I remember that one.  I believe it had an audio clip from a caller saying his favorite show involved alien human mutilation, of all the bizarre things.  :o  I had the same reaction.  Noory just acted like the guy was talking about nothing out of the ordinary.  Maybe for Noory.  ::)

That's absolutely twisted and sick for a parent to do that to their (or any) child. It's revolting abuse. I've seriously wondered if George grew up in an abusive household. Whether the abuse be verbal or physical, we don't know. What is apparent is that something very negative has certainly left its dark mark on this man. Now, of course I can't prove it, but he seems to possess quite a few characteristics of one who has suffered abuse at some point in his life. Do his sickening mangled children "news" stories have a deeper and darker underlying tone and meaning to them? I wonder.

Didn't his father "stomp" George's hamster's babies to death in front of him?  I think that ranks way up high on the list of "abuse".  Still no excuse.  Plenty of people have overcome similar and worse abuse as children to grow up to become "real" human beings!

I don't feel like a bully at all by pointing out his shortcomings.

I have the feeling Jorch's father ruled with an "iron hand" that involved more than being a strict authoritarian.  As others have noted here, it may be what contributes to Noory not being comfortable on the air with much of anything close to arguing or debating or as he puts it "a'holler'n and a scream'n."

I remember the pedophile call....I believe it was about a year ago.  I'm not sure however but I do recall some of the conversation.  I don't think the caller was an adult molesting little kids however.  I think it was a situation where there was an unapproved relationship and he was 19 and the girl was 13 or something.  Ahhh shit.  I dunno.  My memory is flooded with so much Noory flotsam so it's hard for me to pin it down.  :-\  Regardless...I do have some recollection of that program.

In regards to Noory's father stepping on those baby hamsters.....that is just fucking cruel and sick.
