Quote from: Uncle Duke on November 13, 2019, 12:21:45 PMI expect this to eventually evolve into a Rendelsham-like pissing contest among the "witnesses." Those involved, or at least claiming to have been involved, are already starting to have their stories questioned. Frevor has stated some of those making claims are making stuff up, especially Day. (Having heard Turner's claims, I doubt his credibility to a great degree.) As time goes on, and each of the witnesses get co-opted into different camps, I think we'll see finger pointing and derisiveness among them. I also believe we'll see story "creep" start to set in.
Quote from: albrecht on November 13, 2019, 04:26:18 PMWho will be the first to see remember Egyptian-esque hieroglyphics on the craft or get a "download" of information- in a "binary" format? Already you hear the "footage has gone missing" deal.....
Quote from: Uncle Duke on November 13, 2019, 05:51:07 PMI don't expect the aircrew who actually encountered the phenomena to change their stories. Who I think will creep their involvement are the shipboard coneheads who were operating/monitoring the various electronic systems (communications/radar/sigint systems) in the task group. There will be eventual recollections of anomalous signals, other craft detected, startling comments made by aircrew, etc. My only hope is Peter Robbins somehow gets involved in the resulting food fight.
Quote from: albrecht on November 13, 2019, 05:59:25 PMHa. I haven't listened yet but Rense had some guy on the other night who claimed the "Tic-Tac" are ours and was known some years ago. Some guy named Jim Bresio.
Quote from: Uncle Duke on November 13, 2019, 06:29:48 PMBreslo is a podcaster who got his story from a "retired USAF intelligence specialist" who claims they are USAF craft. See below:In what may be a buzzkill for ET UFO advocates, a former USAF Intelligence Specialist says the Big UFO Story that broke in December 2017 has a mundane explanation. At least the "UAPs" that dazzled Navy pilots in 2004 and 2014/2015 are ours, according to Mike Turber. Hidden Truth Show host Jim Breslo calls this "perhaps the greatest scientific discovery in human history which up until now has been kept secret." Turber claims access to sensitive information during his former intelligence employment, plus later revelations from others, and to have figured out most of the rest of the story on his own. Host Breslo hedges a bit on believing what he's hearing. But current investigative journalist Turber worked on the Las Vegas mass shootings, and Breslo says everything Turber has said on prior Hidden Truth episodes about that horrific event has proven accurate. Most of what Turber presents could have been gleaned by attention to the articles The Anomalist has been carrying these many months. But Turber's claims could help account for certain puzzling aspects of the overall story, not the least being the rather odd interplay between the Navy and the Air Force. Turber says the Air Force "tested" its "Tic Tac" and "GIMBAL" craft respectively on Naval personnel from the Nimitz and Roosevelt carrier groups during their training activities. Turber's tale centers around antigravity discoveries, but leaves propulsive technology innovations and other problems unresolved. The dialogue gets a bit theatrical halfway through, but at the very least the podcast is diverting. It will be interesting to see how UFO researchers handle this interview. Quote from: albrecht on November 13, 2019, 06:48:40 PMThanks, Uncle. I will check it out. If I can find a way to login. No social media accounts with which to do so. So might just listen to the Rense version. The Vegas stuff is intriguing and troubling. How such a bad event almost be forgotten and dismissed? With regard to UFOs I'm agnostic. Certainly they exist- things that "can't be identified." One notes that there is much rivalry between branches. The history of JSCC, JSC, and then post 9-11 changes are fraught with politicking and budget/control concerns. Whether totally secret vehicles could be produced and 'tested' against other branches? Idk.
Quote from: Uncle Duke on November 13, 2019, 06:56:09 PMThat should be the link to the show about the Tic Tacs, not sure why it's showing "Las Vegas shooter." When I just clicked on it, it took me to the guy's podcast page on "stitcher," which gives you the opportunity to listen to the show for 4 Nov, the night of his interview with the "intelligence specialist."
Quote from: FightTheFuture on November 20, 2019, 05:22:11 AMKevin Day is a very good friend of mine. I actually fixed him up with his wife, with whom he`s been married over 30 years. I can tell you that he is THE most professional, honest, straight-laced, no-nonsense, just-the-facts, talented enlisted sailor I ever knew. Kev does NOT make shit up. Period. I`ve spoken to him at length about this incident, and it has radically changed his entire view of reality and life as we know it.
Quote from: Uncle Duke on November 20, 2019, 07:23:02 AMI've seen Fravor's comments about Day both in print and on video. The video was from his appearance at a UFO conference in Oregon this past spring with Knapp and Corbell. I found Fravor's comments surprisingly pointed, he didn't say he thought Day (and others) were wrong or that he disagreed with them, he flat out said they were making stuff up and used the term "bullshit." I'd be curious to know what Day's thoughts are on Fravor's comments. As I said previously, this is shaping up as a pissing contest among those involved. This isn't officers v. enlisted, or brown shoes v. brown shoes, it appears to be claim staking on the part of those involved. I expect the various factions will have their champions/promoters as time goes along who will be trying to make a buck off their stories. The books and documentaries are coming, and I suspect sooner than later.
Quote from: FightTheFuture on November 20, 2019, 02:10:28 PMI haven`t heard Fravor say anything derogatory about Kevin (not that I`m really paying attention). I can`t even begin to speculate why he would. Not only was Kevin one of the -- if not *the* -- most respected professional in his field in the entire U.S. Navy, Kevin was the one controlling Fravor`s a/c through this entire event. Kevin is the one who briefed the CO on these contacts and, subsequently, convinced the CO to intercept them. Further, they both have agreed publicly that it`s their belief those a/c were "not of this world." I mean, they are essentially lockstep in agreement on all the salient facts.I haven`t been in contact with Kevin since not too long after he was on C2C AM. He`s a busy guy, as am I. But I can tell you that he was very deeply affected by this event -- mentally, physically, spiritually; in every way possible. He`s not out to exploit this experience for money. He really just wants to try and understand whats going on and why the government isn`t making "a bigger deal" about it.
Quote from: Uncle Duke on November 20, 2019, 04:02:42 PMhttps://youtu.be/f7XJD_54aNkI just watched this video again, it was not this interview where Fravor mentioned Day by name. He does claim some of the "witnesses" are making stuff up, but doesn't mention names. I'll have to see if I can find the interview I remembered. As I said initially, I see parallels between this story and Rendelsham. I wasn't meaning to imply I thought Day was necessarily trying to make money off this deal, rather that there are those who will attempt to make money and/or a name for themselves off his story. Same with the others involved. What I'd love to see is a round table discussion with all the "witnesses "identified in the PM article, moderated by someone capable but without a dog in the fight. I'd nominate John Batchelor, probably the best radio interviewer I've ever heard.
Quote from: FightTheFuture on November 21, 2019, 04:16:50 AMWell, my take away from this video is, first, Cmdr. Fravor, for allegedly being a "reluctant witness" damn sure knows how to play a live audience, doesn`t he?. I doubt he`s ever seen a camera he didn`t try to get in front of or a microphone he didn`t try to talk into. He strikes me as an arrogant prick. That, in no way diminishes the veracity of his story, of course. Just an observation from yours truly. Second, I don`t doubt for a second there`s going to be some enterprising sailors with a little initiative and imagination that are going to try and cash in on this story. Hell, I`d be disappointed if they didn`t try. MIB? "Sure, man, we saw `em!" Yeah, I can totally see that happening. He DID mention, specifically, PTSD. I suspect there are, or is, some person(s) pursuing that claim. I don`t have any information on that. Kevin may, or may not, be suffering from PTSD. If I had to guess, I would say he definitely is, or was, experiencing textbook symptoms of PTSD. Fravor has a very cavalier attitude it seems regarding the legitimacy of any claims along those lines. Again; displaying his arrogance. BTW, Kev said Fravor was "shitting his pants, screaming 'OMG, OMG! I`M ENGAGED, I`M ENGAGED!'" when he closed the "tic tac." Third, I agree with you, Duke. There are some parallels with the Rendlesham incident. Also very stark differences that set this incident in a class of it`s own. Obviously, the evidence in this case is far more tangible, and thus, believable. All the evidence ties together very well. There`s plenty of corroborating evidence, such as multiple eye witnesses, radar data, video footage, etc. all exactly in line with accepted narrative of this incident which when you boil it all down is: UFOs tracked on SPY1 radar (keep in mind, not just ANY radar); a/c sent to intercept UFO, which was verified as "not of this world" by Top Gun grad pilot with 18 years experience. Very clean; very precise; very believable. Unlike Rendlesham, it`s pretty near impossible for any skeptic worth his salt to find wiggle room on this one.
