I've written many times that they need look no further than Bob Zimmerman.  He's as fluent as Hoagland but what he says is true.

They can't dump on Hoagland though; it would be commercial suicide (not to mention the contents of an ostrich sized egg on the collective faces at C2C) if they had to even imply that they'd been worked over by him; even worse would be the implication they were well aware RCH is a charlatan and they were complicit. The problem with lying is it has to be continued long after the 'joke's' finished.

Yup, sorry, Zimmerman is the guy I was thinking of, though Zubrin, whose specialty is Mars, would be a welcome replacement for Hoagie, too.

If coast dropped Hoagland, he would disappear. He would be totally forgotten.

Hoagland came on a couple nights ago to report on NASA's press conference about the near earth asteroid coming close next week that he listened to.
He claimed NASA used it as an opportunity to plead for more cash for asteroid hunting...

You mean someone used a media appearance to mention they need more money for something?  I can't imagine anyone on Coast stooping to that despicable level that NASA did, much less Rev. Richard!

Indeed so! Far be it for him to push his latest 'expedition' or 'Astonishing conference/seminar/book/dvd/beard clippings/Robin's used panties etc'...

Juan Cena

Did RCH ever mention what his deal with the Carnival Triumph was? Is he trying to say the junk that went down with the ship last week had something to do with his cruise?

Narcissistic personality disorder anyone?

...Narcissistic personality disorder anyone?
Yep, that has been the diagnosis of Hoagland (and even George) every couple of months.

I think he was trying to say that his Inaccutron rig (30-year old wristwatch rigged to a MicroSetâ,,¢ timer) detected a strong torsion field at the pier where they docked for the abortive "expedition" to Chichen Itza.

However, there were two problems. One was that he got so discursive that he ran right out of time before he got to the point. The other is that there's no such thing as a torsion field.

Wasn't Hoagland a big guy in the Apollo program? I think I heard Richard C say that before ???

he only claimed to be Walter Conkrite's NASA space advisor during the Apollo moon missions.

Thanks for the correction! Could you imagine a C2C type show with Hoagland as host?

The desk wouldn't power up with electricity off the grid, but be powered by magic and torsion physics. :)

Does Hoaxland have a doctorate in anything??

I don't believe he has a bachelors in anything.

Definitely no college degree.

Yes Expat; but I found one disciple;.... I was registered on here, but I think my questions regarding RCH's qualifications got my screen name blocked...The buxom, tone deaf Kerry responded to my e mail but insisted that she hadn't a policy of banning anyone who disagreed with the  gullible souls enlightened ones who populate it's environs... :)

Oh we live in hope! I'm minded too think he might give a cursory glance at it and stick his fingers in his ears, comb his beard and hair over his eyes and chant " I can't see or hear you; na na na na na na na na na na"
Robin sticks her head around the door; "Hey honey, what's the matter?"

Richard sees the quizzical look and asks what she said, she repeats it. He replies; "Oh nothing baby, just more heretics and NASA employees trying to do 'real science' down. At least my Fartbook followers and Georgiekins know the truth"

Me too. I think that RCH and Mr George Noory are BFF.

Hoagland's fantasies last night were fairly amazing. I've had a little fun with them on my blog today.

I'll be interviewing Expat for an upcoming episode of my podcast about Hoagland's more political/technological conspiracies.  If anyone has a suggestion for a question they'd like me to ask him, send me a PM.

Another bare-faced lie last night. "Water on the surface of Europa? I predicted that in 1979." No he did not. He took prior work by Cassen, Peale & Reynolds on gravitational flexing of Europa and turned it into "a major paper" about oceans tens of km below the ice crust. Not in a peer-reviewed journal, by the way. He NEVER predicted surface water.

Details details; This is the very thing that Rich complains of. None believers using facts, supporting evidence, repeatable experiments, reviews and having the conclusion open to independent scrutiny. Is it any wonder NASA hasn't seen sense and offered RCH and Mike Bara high flying jobs?; They're clearly shortsighted.  ;)

I'm afraid I damaged my bedside radio again last night. Poor little radio, sorry -- I guess it's not your fault.

It was when Noory announced the Mars-habitable news, then brought RCH on with the remark "Why don't you just say 'I told you so'?"

"NO GEORGE YOU DUNDERHEAD," I screamed at the radio, 'THAT'S NOT WHAT HE FUCKING SAID." On 1st December 2012 he very clearly stated that he had confirmed that there are collapsed apartment blocks at Shaler. IT'S NOT FUCKING TRUE, GEORGE. As recently as 2nd March Hoagland accused NASA of staging a "convenient" computer failure SO THEY COULD AVOID ANNOUNCING THE VERY DATA THEY JUST ANNOUNCED. HE WAS FUCKING WRONG AGAIN, GEORGE.

Sorry. I get mad sometimes like anyone else.

Say what you really mean man! Stop this indecision over RCH's credentials and proclamations.  :)

And I'm sure Hoagie immediately corrected The Night Bungler, and told him he (Hoagland) hadn't said any such thing, right? I mean, Hoagland never takes undue credit, right? Right?....Hello?

McPhallus

Hoagland is the Fort Rock of Coast to Coast.  He believes he's serving some deep-rooted need by spinning endless bullshit stories.

He's been such a pain in the ass to NASA I'm surprised he hasn't disappeared under mysterious circumstances.
