Falkov revealed last night on C2C that she was a no-show for the scheduled hemicolectomy, which would almost certainly have saved her life. Instead she's opting for getting her body "back in balance," whatever that means, and a colonoscopy is now scheduled, "to see what's going on."

That's very puzzling. Surely she'd have had colonoscopy already -- I can't imagine a surgeon proceeding without one. Altogether, this is very disturbing. I fear for her.

I heard this last night as well and found my self making my "WTF" face for the duration.  Couldn't remember how she had put but I think your right.  "Getting my body back in balance." 

Now I'm gonna just go out on a limb here... if they were going to take half of her ass-tube out doesn't that mean that she definitely has cancer?  Why are they going to look at it again?  Doesn't waiting longer give the cancer more of a chance to find its way to other areas?

Different cancers grow at different rates. Common practice with prostrate cancer in men in their 70's is to leave it alone... more than likely the patient will succumb from old age before the cancer.


I haven't followed falkov to any extent. I don't know what type of cancer she has. But I am very cynical here. First I believe I have read she sells herbs and gives oriental medical advice. Which from what I gather is the antithesis of current medical practice... maybe not all the time (my wife is watching). Second, falcov started with standard medical treatment and now is eschewing that treatment.

Or, and I hope this isn't true, her cancer was detected too late to be treatable effectively and she's opting for alternative therapies. Either way, reading about Steve McQueen's coffee enemas and laetrile treatments would be an eyeopener. It should be required reading for all of Noory's gullible audience.


I can't think of the actor's name, but he was the older new father in the movie 'Parenthood'. His wife had breast cancer which she detected in an early stage, when it was very treatable, if not curable. Instead, and against medical advice, she opted for crystal treatments because she believed the vibrations would restore her balance and get rid of her cancer. Long story short: she died way too young and in great pain, and he went on to put on a one man show on tv about the aftermath of her decision to trust in New Age quackery. It was powerful, to say the least.

Sorry to offend any one's sensibilities. But in my mind she is responsible for people dying due to her desire to be a doctor. I do not see much difference in her nonsense and someone directing fleeing people back into a burning building.

Yesterday, on her "What They Don't Want You to Know" amateur radio show, Falkov welcomed as a featured guest "Dr" Leonard Coldwell, who describes himself on his web site as "the world’s leading authority for Cancer cures."

Two things this specimen said caught my ear (not verbatim but close):

"Conventional medicine has never cured cancer. Patients die from the the therapy, not the disease."

"No vaccine has ever been safe and effective. Not a single one."

Superficial googling turns up people who seem to be annoyed at Coldwell.

I'm happy to report that a technical glitch took this shoddy, mendacious show off the air before its scheduled end.

This is where I think a certain amount of legal responsibilities should exist. Because it takes the listener from the point of view that "vitamin tonic A is good for you" to "I am an expert and I am telling you to avoid professional medical treatment".


When one is licensed to treat medically, usually identified by doctor; there is a great deal of responsibility. A virtual contract exists between medical expert and patient.


When one claims to be a physician and misleads someone in need or just seeking advice for medical treatment they are putting that person at risk, perhaps risk of death.


Jail isn't good enough for that kind of ilk.

I have a difficult time dealing with quacks, particularly quacks with MD or PhD after their names, or the honorarium title of "Doctor" like Falkov. I don't know what it is, but this quackery anti-vax nonsense is spreading like the proverbial cancer, even to the chief anti-vax spokesidiot Jenny McCarthy getting a slot on the View.


The problem with all of them is that they are never held accountable for the deaths and misery they incur from their false advertising, and repudiation of peer reviewed, controlled experiments. And then you have an even bigger idiot like Noory talking about his sister's brain tumor and how she isn't going for "alternative" treatment. Maybe that's because all the shots to live are in the barrel of scientific studies and state of the art treatment.


I know there was a case in Canada where the person basically killed a breast cancer patient through quack treatments, and was successfully prosecuted. I'd like to see more of the same here, with quacks held accountable. They prey on the sick, frightened and vulnerable and should be dealt with like any other predator.
