As a Giants' fan, there is some satisfaction in seeing the Dodgers--especially behind Kershaw--get  shut out and sent home.  I got nuthin' against Chicago (St. Louis, yes), so congratulations, Cubbies!  108 years is too long to wait.

I'm a Dodgers fan but I have to confess my heart was kinda pulling for the Cubs.  It's been a long time since my Dad was in knickers and going to Cubs games back in the early to mid 40's with his father.  Hard to believe it has been that long since they went to the World Series.  Congrats to the Cubbies. Now kick some Cleveland ass.

I thought the Dodgers might get to the WS for Vin Scully, but no; they couldn't hack deep post-season play (as per usual). Let's face it, this is the Cubs' year.
