Well, it's about time someone just came out and said it. You may be the first to do it here and thus open the floodgates.
I hope MV doesn't delete your post.

Except this makes 0 sense. The show was on he verge of being picked up by cumulus and syndicated all over the US.

Apparently not. The going theory is that he's working under the rules of a sort of a reverse Lord Voldemort. If you speak his name on any form of social media, he will NOT appear.

Wow is all i can say.
I never imagined the outpouring of well wishes and pleading for me to return.
Given that, i have decided to ignore the trolls and will be rescheduling my meeting
with Art, keith, Heather and myself.

I have given Art the O.K. to acknowlegde me publicly on this board.
I am not a joke, I am not somone to be mocked. I am impotant.

No, guys: My BIL was a big Bell fan. Back in the day, that old guy that wrote about that super race and the ancient texts and the outerplanet, he read all the books and it fascinates him, and I wasn't listening to Bell but he convinced me to check him out, so I did. I always found Art entertaining, but I always felt an unsettling doubt because it was obvious that, no matter how cool Bell sounded, a lot of the guests were obvious huxsters. But then I learned that Art, like me, was married to a Filipina, so I felt a kindred sense about him. I figured he had to be an ok guy, but then he married a young girl, a girl young enough to be his daughter after his wife died and that really bothered me, I kinda feel sorry for the gal, but still, I convinced myself to look past that and consider that maybe Art did really love her for more than her young looks (who knows). But it always grated on me, I constantly see old American men marrying girls young enough to be even grand daughters and it sickens me inside, the girls are better than that, they don't deserve wasting their young with a 70 year old fart.

I have a very very strong bond with Filipino friends and culture, so much so that if I could afford it, I'd be living there right now. Although I don't like a lot of the food there and hate the shitty internet they have and the expensive electronics, but the people are so wonderful and the place is beautiful.

Yes, what finally pushed me over the edge was Bell's final cop out being "shot at" which is bullshit, and then, worse, he campaigns for one of the most evil numbskulls in modern politics (although Cruz is worse). Mind you, I don't like Shillary either.

Yes, part of what angers me now, just as I have clearly said, is Bell's politics, which always bothered me but not is out of hand because he no longer gives a damn. And that's another thing that pisses me off about him, how he's given up. I'm almost 60 years old and fighting to rebuild a career in science and rebuilding a life that was destroyed by crooked evil people and when I see an older man like me fuck off the world, it angers me, because I'm still fighting and kicking.

If *I* had so many people love me, I wouldn't have treated them so badly as he has, and you all are so blind to this, like the girl that keeps running back to the scoundrel who commits crimes and beats her. What will it take for you people to admit to yourselves what Bell really is? It's sad, but yes, I was fooled a bit myself. It's similar to how I used to be a fanatical right wing nut job. But somehow, after some major life events and a great deal of therapy and self reflection, I've had a major paradigm shift as a man.

Eventually, more and more people will join me here and will cease being afraid to criticize the great king Art Bell. He's not a god people, and he's been fucking you all over. Yes, I was in denial, some of you are too. If Art changed to supporting Sanders, I'd still be disgusted with him, but at least I would be 30% less angry.

TL;DR My wife cost more than Art's and now she doesn't love me.

Keith is MST3King Heather along with BellGab now?

You know what this is? This is Keith looking to dump Hoagie.
It's pretty clear why RCH wanted to leave.

I'm going to stick this on the OSOM thread too-this is seriously messed up.
I wonder what role Art played in all of this.

Just so you know Jackstar, friend... because it seems important to you.

I see ALL...  and know and understand exactly what you are talking about.

What is the different between you and me?... Art, Falkie and whoever are just the 'ones' of millions that we' see'.
I can't go around being upset with the millions, so why get upset with the 'ones' we 'see'

Love ALL

^^^ I'm taxed and give to charities... Don't have a clue if the money is wasted or put to some good use.
The 'ones' I 'see' and I help personally by showing them my LOVE may help them be better, if not it doesn't bother me a bit..
'one' or million my attitude is the same.... Love ALL.

RCH is leaving?  I don't listen to the show or read the thread, and was appalled that a person with as severe of a personality disorder as his was given a forum to spread his paranoia and fraudulent 'theories'.

Heh, what happened?

fellow BellGabers
I have a meeting with Roswells, Art next week (if things go as planned)
This is where i will use all my influence and powers of persuasion to
have MV given a much deserved boot out the door.
I will keep you all posted.

Six Weaks
When is your meeting scheduled for?
I don't think it is wise to have two meetings.
I have the most influence on Art.
I respectfully ask that you leave the meeting for me.
I have a tentative date set for next week.
please let me know the date you are scheduled, as i would
like to go last (if two meeting have to happen at all).
I would prefere that my be the only meeting as i have the most
influence on Art, Keith and by default Heather.

You may inbox me, but it might get lost as i now have over 657 pages of
support from my fellow bell gabbers.
being a founding member of bell gab, i think this matter is best left in my hands.

Please give it some thought.
Again, i continue to ask my fellow bellgabers to post support, as these
messages are all printed out and will be given to Art to reivew.

thanks again for all your suppport.
Although Art in the  past has encouraged me to get into the radio business,
i am satisfied to only remain behind the scense for now.

thanks again
bobo

Thanks to everyone and Roswells, Art for this meeting.
P.S.  continue to post "MV...enough is enough...Quit" and this will also help.
P.S.S.  Thanks for the many 1,000's of personal inbox messages of support, i thank all my fellow bellgabbers and will take this information to the meeting

I'm new to the forum, and avoiding doing some work on a Sunday, and felt compelled to chime in a little bit on this.

I can understand a little bit about where you're coming from. As a fan, I think we can sometimes form a mental picture in our minds of who we think these radio personalities are. The image is often one of someone we see as a close friend and we imagine that we share much in common with them. But there's often a big difference between the on-air persona and the actual "real life" person behind the mic.

I saw this with Art years ago when I would hear him talking on the ham bands with a group of other hams. I envisioned Art as having one kind of a personality, but what I saw on the ham bands was very different. Not bad or horrible, just different. He was not really what I'd call welcoming and friendly and gregarious; he kind of sat in the background while others would chime in with short sentences and he would periodically put in his own two cents, usually brief statements. And that kind of took me aback. It wasn't the same personality that I felt I knew from the AM broadcast version of him. And that dissonance made me feel hesitant to try to talk with him. Some of the hams that hung out with him (not sure if they were really his friends or not) seemed rather callous or rude and the whole atmosphere around that just didn't feel inviting to me, so I would sit and listen but chose not to participate. I would say Art just seemed kind of introverted and somewhat private.

I have also experienced the same thing with a podcaster (nothing to do with paranormal). I really was drawn to his "on-air" personality, and felt we had a lot in common. Because it was a small operation I actually did correspond with him a bit and met him in person. And again, big shock. He was not nearly as friendly or approachable as I had imagined. Not only that but I just found many things about him to be off-putting. It didn't make him a horrible person but just not someone I really wanted to be friends with.

I see Art as a great broadcaster and enjoy his talent and abilities as such but I don't know that we'd hit it off as friends due to many things that we'd probably disagree on, and for me that's fine. At the end of the day he's just a guy behind a mic and not much different from you or I in a lot of ways probably. And he doesn't even want to be treated any different, and abhors fan adulation.

I guess if there are things about a broadcaster I find too upsetting, I would stop listening to them. But generally as long as they're not convicted felons or presenting material I either find offensive or uninteresting, I will continue to allow myself to enjoy their talents as a broadcaster even if I don't agree with some of their off-air life choices or politics, etc.

Now I have to get back to work! Enjoy your Sundays, BellGabbers.
