The redoing of the studio doesn't strike me as significant evidence of anything. What changes did he make just to do MITD? A different ISP installing a different Internet connection? Extra phone lines? I'm sure he owned a pair of headphones, a microphone, or a headset, a computer, a multi-line phone and a mixer. Skype is software and free, AFAIK. The studio already was set up for ham purposes in a separate location, no additional soundproofing required I'd think.

The point is, if you want to talk about a financial or logistical investment of some kind, the studio wouldn't seem to be where it's at.

Please forgive me Segundus,  I don't read this thread much anymore. I'm sure someone has made the same point in the past.

It makes no sense, to make-up such a convoluted "stalker" story. When a simple lie 'would have' achived the same results.

If really, wanted to turn the show over to Heather. A simple lie..Art sez "have some private family issues, Heather will fill in, until things are worked out"

Heather, update listeners about Art and when he is expected to return.

Art returns, and sez "he'll be back every once in awhile, until things stabilize with private family issues"

Heather continues to fill in. Listeners get use to Heather.

Again it make no sense at all, to come up with a "stalker" story and risk involving the police, with unknown consequences of any investigation.

If it is assumed that Art is  smart and devious enough, to invent the stalker story. Then wouldn't it be logical that he would be smart enough, to understand its many risks. And come up with a simple lie, that accomplishes the same  objectives with no risk to his character and provides a way for it to become Heather's show.. Plus it would of protected the subscription income.

I believe Art.

He reacted, in panic, without thinking, wanted to protect his family first and foremost.

Heather is to be admired, she is trying to hold it together, until the day, when Art and his family feel safe again.

I believe and adore Heather.

TRUTH IS ..it's all a very sad for Art's fan.
No matter the TRUTH of what really happened.

That's how things work in fiction, real life is a little more chaotic

I believe Art got tired of doing a show every night, and  believe that's what happened at Sirius as well. 

I think there were a few random events that he built into a Stalker Story, and used that as a way to get out while looking like the victim - a recurring theme with him.  He may even believe it himself by now.

If there's actually something to this this time, then he really is the Boy Who Cried Wolf.

Yeah.  He did it because he has money to burn and because he wanted a show that he could poke his head into every now and again, when the mood hit him and when he needed love from his supporters. 

This all would have worked out for him if Heather were acceptable.

Well, that's certainly the pc position around here.  No one is going to be upset with those claiming to believe this stuff.  Are you as easily swayed when approving loans?


Can anyone explain why Airyn - in a house at the end of a road, in a quiet neighborhood, at night - didn't hear anyone shooting at her house?  Gunshots are kinda hard to miss, even on a busy corner in the city.

If she didn't she certainly would have been on the alert for more gunfire after that, yet she didn't hear the shots fired at Art the second time either.
