I think trump has never been serious about wanting to become the president. And has been playing a longer game. What is that? I read this link and started through some of the "sources" before the page formatting and overall cacophony of misinterpretation gave me a headache.

Biology is a complex thing. Science changes. Back in the day, people died of "old age." As science has progressed, we're better able to diagnose what the hell happened.

Either Zika has changed over 60 years (as viruses are prone to do) or our ability to diagnose symptoms and associate data sets have improved. Probably both.

It is certainly scary to think of what this virus could do. It was scary to think of Ebola as well. I'm sure folks were scared of Yersina Pestis (okay, that's a bacteria) some thousand years ago as well. I'm sorry to hear this has created panic within those close to you. But I just don't see this as evidence of some greater hoax or conspiracy.

Sure, I've caught fish with all kinds of nasty-looking stuff in their digestive tracts. But, at least where I've fished, the worms haven't been in the meat I'm about to cook up. Not that I could see. Frankly, if I couldn't see them due to their microscopic size or whatever, I'd just as soon not know about them. Fish should be well-cooked in any case, unless it's very clean sushi.

I'm getting very suspect of anything raw or cooked from the Pacific, unfortunately, because I used to love sashimi. But I've caught various types of drums with worms on the outside of them. Rabbits with worms. And deer often have ticks etc. Nature is not "clean." And, usually, there is nothing wrong with it, necessary. (Though it can be the case, obviously, with bad parasites, or deer fever etc.) Most of the stuff that will really hurt you it not visible. Nice. I don't see why Art wouldn't just do a podcast weekly, monthly, or just randomly and make it more like "Dreamland" and not caller focused. Then:
1) we would still have some Art
2) he could do it whenever (and not interfere with family time, get on weird night schedules, etc)
3) it could be played whenever and announced beforehand (or not announced and maybe help draw listeners to Heather and encourage Time Traveler membership. Just as LMH makes some anti-Norry people still tune in those nights for her. But Art would be bigger draw.)
4) stalker wouldn't know when/if Art was recording so harder to stalk
5) easier to get good guests, even 'stars' or mainstream guests, because not at 1am

NOVA did a special on Ebola that I watched.
The claim was that Ebola would occasional break out in a small area and then die back.  Why was this case so widespread?
It was traced to a clinic set up by Catholic nuns.  They would treat pregnant women who would go to the clinic and then back home.  THEY WERE NOT STERILIZING THE NEEDLES.
This was NOVA reporting.  Why did no one else pick it up?
