...I remember listening to you every night at work on my little battery operated radio.  I even called in and talked to you once on a land line about stem cell research while I was at work.

Hi Briggies!

Do you remember what year you called in to Art? I'd love to find that show on the torrent if it's available. Hope you are doing well.

You know Trump likes Putin and Russia.
With Trump the risk of a nuclear war with Russia would be smaller than ever.
Actually, it's never been as high as under Obama.

Let me repeat I am not going into what is currently being done for security but it is a lot, because I am not employing your Brother in Law or whatever does not mean things are not being done.

Art , if you have installed cameras at your compound, you should live stream them to the internet so your fans can be on the lookout and watch it live. Would be fun.

I don't see many real questions here, just a lot of fighting. MV and me are fine. I did ask him to review a post from DP after somebody told me it was Libel, he did as did I and I felt it was not libel so I told him to leave it, no problem. Then there was another message from KofK which was libel and he took it down.

The phone call threat came just before I went on air and I mentioned it to Heather but did not call the Police because I have had so many phone and email threats over the Years and learned that the Police always tell you people who talk do not do things and frankly I thought it was just some kid who heard all the on air stuff and wanted to pile on. Never the less Heather on her own decided to report it and when the Police asked me about it I confirmed it and did say I had not reported it for the reasons above and they agreed with me.

I am not supporting the Network in any way, it is supporting itself. Nor am I involved with it in any way. Keith and I remain friends. I have been helping Heather in every way I know how. She has retained many thousands of subs.

I may do a Gab Cast next Week if people want it, perhaps on Tuesday if that's what people want. I did sift through the messages but saw more fighting than questions.

As for the Stalker, we have a pretty darn good idea who it is but not enough proof to make a arrest or even say. The situation has not changed otherwise and my return to the air is something I might try without any prior announcement to test the waters. It still depends frankly on my Wife. Feel free to call me a pussy but this is not just my decision.

When the man comes around... kickass bumper for your first night back, right there.

I don't remember, but I mentioned it talking to Redacted the first time I called the gabcast, and one of the lads, maybe Jaz said he remembered that one.  It was the one where Art was upset about stem cell research.  It was during the Coast to Coast days, during the last years before Art left CoastToCoast seems to me.

Art,

Have you ever seen this website that matches up your views with the candidates stated positions?

https://www.isidewith.com

I come up Cruz/Carson/Trump as my top 3, but I think Trump has the best chance of winning.

I only got 30% Trump.

Maybe Trump will call into the Gabcast.

Hello Art, this is Chris from Orange County, I just joined BellGab after lurking for many years. I first heard you on the radio in late 1995 on my old Sony Walkman, I think I picked you up from a Houston AM station back then. My questions for you are as follows:
1. When did you become interested in the human abduction/missing time topic? The first time I heard about it was on a commuter train of all places in 1988.
2. What was the fondest memory of the show that you have? For me, it was Father Martin and the shows about science/physics.
3. When MITD started in July, a gentleman came on the air with you and he talked about stories about him assisting with abductions, will this guy eventually be a guest with Heather? I really want to hear more about his story.
4. What was the most beautiful place that you ever visited? I liked hearing your travel stories and explaining what you learned by visiting other countries.

Thanks for posting again Art, I am so glad to hear from you again and of course, praise MV.

When asked about his foreign policy and his views on the various terror groups, Donald Trump said he didn't know anything about them and that he would "learn when he was in the White House". He said he would learn on his first day. I have no confidence in someone who wants to be a politician and yet knows nothing about politics. He is a dumbass and would be a disaster. The fact that Sarah Palin endorsed him scares me even more. What scares me the most is that so many Americans actually want him to be President. I guess people just stopped caring.

I don’t know if you are taking into consideration the whole picture. Regardless of whether the last incident was a firecracker or gunshot, the result was the same: his wife and daughter were terrified. Art said “...my Wife said enough and told me our Daughter was in trauma over this last incident.“ Given this, how would you feel if your husband said ‘I don’t care, my fans need me’?

As far as discussing this before hand, I'm totally with you. Like all his dilemmas, past and present, Art acts first and thinks later. That’s what he does. In this case, before committing to a comeback, he should have discussed with Airyn how much of their life, as they knew it, would change. He knew the risks; he had security in the past. Why would he think things might be different this time?

Oh BC  ... Art wanted to be believe and 'hoped' he could isolate himself from the bad guys. And 'hoped' he and family could live a relatively normal life.
Having security limits one's personal life. Causes paranoia, just having them around. The fence and the remote compound wasn't enough this time.

Why blame Art?  he tried to protect his family. Now he has adjusted his security. I 'Hope' it's enough.

I would've had a little more respect for Trump if he'd blown Palin off & maybe talked about how he didn't need her endorsement especially because she's a fucking lunatic.

I have to agree. I haven't checked but I somehow doubt his poll numbers went up after that endorsement. It was a mistake and he should try to distance himself from her stench  ;)

It helps to look at the big picture every now and again, no?  We need more and more people to cover the future debt for our aging population and if we don't breed enough, outsiders who do are brought in.  That ball has to stop somewhere.
I'll send this into politics but, simply, no. We can solve the 'replacement problem' with newer technologies, longer lifespans, and more efficiencies. We don't need to import uneducated, 3rd world people, who often practice a virulent type of religion, and have very backward views towards women, other races/ethnicities, homosexuals, democracy, private property, and civil rights, into our countries. Even as temporary or 'guest' workers. Look how great the 'guest worker' Turk system worked in Germany, as a small example.

So you don't bring in outsiders that are going to stress the systems and increase the debt. You bring in outsiders with assets, tangible or intangible. And a vagina doesn't count as an asset. It might come along for the ride, but you don't open the floodgates just to get a bunch of useless breeders.

You scare me. Please don't vote.

He hasn't bothered to provide an intelligent, informed position on any serious issues.  He's only interested in fanning the flames of divisive, controversial topics for maximum entertainment value and media attention.  He's selling snake oil.  He will quit when he's found out.

I'll give you a good example of "slow walking": the artificial pancreas for Type 1 diabetics. It's been very doable for nearly two decades, but is only now in trials.

All that was really missing was the software, basically the algorithm controlling release of insulin. No company funded this work. It took an engineer whose son got the disease to finally write a workable algorithm on his own. Now, companies are starting to put capital into this project.

I remember hearing about cultivated pancreatic cells back in the 90's, then...nothing.  I read an article a couple of years ago about French researchers who had healed damaged rat hearts (to simulate damage from a heart attack) with stem cells - turns out, the pluropotent cells were triggered to become heart muscle cells by the body's own chemical signals, so no programming was even required.  We can even clone the specific adult stem cells of your body so they can effect all kinds of repairs without risk of rejection.  So where is the clinical application?  Stonewalled by Big Pharm and their sock puppets at the FDA, I reckon.

I do have some comments on Trump. I think now there is a better than even chance he will be the next President. I think most of us have had enough Political correctness. The Economy is always number one, for that he would be good. Beyond that he is tough and there are lots of Natl Security concerns and I guess we have to hope enough adults to keep his finger off the button. I have some respect for how he has handled Fox who shot themselves in the foot with a bigger caliber gun then I used on my foot.

Art

The myth that Trump would be good for the economy because he's currently rich is chilling: the guy has filed for bankruptcy four times since 1991.  The guy's a bellowing, petulant, insipid infant with an ego bigger than his hair - like a louder, dumber, meaner version of GW Bush, but without the cunning malevolent handlers.  And his Wild West style of incendiary hate speech would go over like the Hindenburg in Middle East negotiations.  If we earnestly want to see WWIII erupt in the next four years, Trump is our best shot at getting it.

I wouldn't trust that guy to run a car wash, let alone the most powerful nation on Earth.

Our entire rotten filthy government is like that:  corporations and plutocrats pay money into campaign funds so "our representatives" will pass the legislation they want, and then when they leave office (if they ever leave office) they get nice cushy high-paying jobs at the lobbying groups, or the corporations they were supposed to be regulating on our behalf.

We're not even a part of the equation anymore because private money wins elections.

We need to bar civil servants from getting jobs in the fields they're supposed to be regulating, fund campaigns entirely with public money to purge the current private bribe system of elections, and undo the horrible gerrymandering that's keeping psychopaths in lifelong positions of power.

But of course none of that's going to happen because the corrupt weasels would have to vote for it, and they're not going to do that because they're all in like Flynn.  Iirc the approval rating of the legislative branch is in the teen percentiles, and yet the incumbents win over 95% of their re-election campaigns.

The entire system is totally, hopelessly, and irrevocably corrupt at every level.

Yes - they're turned HIV into a "manageable disease" - as long as patients take a lifelong supply of their expensive medications.  Most afflictions could be completely cured with gene therapy, but that research has been "slow walking" for decades because treatments are like mandatory lifetime subscriptions.
Oh, do I so agree that our elections could be publicly funded.  Campaigns could be of a shorter duration.  We still have 'public' airwaves and one of the conditions of a license could be time dedicated to campaigning.  It can be done.

My numbers are probably off a bit, but I read that in the 1940's we had a law that limited salary increases to a percentage of the profits of a company.  Then, the CEO made about 45 times the income of the average employee.  That law was done away with and salaries of the guys on top have progressed so that the difference is now over 800 time the income of the average worker.

A democracy cannot stand without a strong middle class - or if the press is controlled, but that's another story.

I know, I found that interesting! Hmmm, sounds like just like the Africanized Honey Bees (but far scarier if the claims are true.) Starts in Brazil by experiments by mixing the tame European bee with the volatile, violent African type and, whoops, doesn't work out the way we planned and the swarm moves northward.

You know how the "conspiracy nuts" always joked/worried about Bush or Obama suspending elections to stay in office?  The Trump phenomenon is the only thing in my memory that I believe would make them attempt to do so.  He is such an anomaly of sorts, a guy with wealth and an inherent celebrity status that allows him to short circuit the established system.

The media historically has had a large role in controlling the narrative and steering people towards the selection of the next President, but now not so much... I love every minute of it, Art.

They are panicking right now because 2016 was supposed to be Jeb vs Hillary... two wings of the same bird.
Yeah.  Would that it were Trump vs. Sanders.  Both have certain very good attributes and both have said things that make me somewhat upset.  I don't think either are playing up to the big boys, the controllers, though, which makes me hope that they are both being honest in wanting the best for the country.

I don't like Trump copping out of a debate because of some hissy fit over a female.  Is he going to pull things like this during international crises?  Maybe he should consult with his daughter before such silly moves.
