All I can say is that this has been the wildest, craziest, most unbelievable ride I could ever had imagined since I started posting on BG back in April 2015...

It seems the radio industry is completely unpredictable, cannibalistic and absolutely self destructive...

This has actually helped me in my own business...the inherent value of honoring your word...I always knew this basic concept, but this has just gilded that fundamental law of business in gold! Also, the notion of putting your ego aside for the overall benefit of the business endeavor...

So much to learn from this experience...

Art is 70, but it's never too late to realize people don't appreciate being lied to or be taken for fools.  He knew people would freak out if he quit again, and thought passing along a bs story would make him look better than simply saying he needed to take a step back.

It didn't fly.  Oh well, too late to walk that story back now.  People don't much appreciate flakes either.

I have no regrets. They were fun to make.
Funny that the creators who put in time to create the material for Arts return do not seem to feel slighted when so many members are upset that people at bellgab did "work" for his return... (I know there are still some who have not weighted in.)

For me- I copied a few of Nox's flyers and posted a few places that he was coming back.  It really didn't impact my life.  Don't get me wrong- some of Arts posts have left me baffled- but defending this site by saying that "people helped him" seems a little weak as well (particularly when those who did the most are saying that they don't regret the time they took...)

WTF happened to you?  You used to be a little more... assertive (aggressive?) in your postings.  You have "toed the line" for so long that the corn fields are getting overgrown.

I recall RCH giving a shout out to LJN. Those of us who own recordings of LJN knew right away. I never knew the title or artist, though. Fantastic show opener and closer.

I agree about it being perfect for the genre and having listened to LJN back when, it sounded very familiar. But I'll bet LJN made sure he could legitimately use it. I'm not so sure about RCH and this fly-by-night network.

The point is, I've seen several original Renoirs I'd love to hang on my wall, but I wouldn't think about making that happen because I don't own any rights to them. RCH, on the other hand, is pretty full of himself, so who knows what he chooses to partake in.

I have a signed copy. Whatcha think it's worth?

Posthumously it may very well fetch ten or more dollars on the dark web.
I'll trade you an old pair of lucky socks that propelled me to receive the mvp award at a high school provincial basketball tourney  8)

LMAO!!!!!!!

The mere fact that Hoagland has a radio show is something we should all marvel and appreciate  ;)
It is a total train wreck with a plethora of name dropping and circle jerking from Hoagie's misfits, whom he refers to as colleagues.
If that is not appeal enough I don't know what is  :P
He even openly airs his gripes on-air for all to speculate about.
Totally fascinating.
