Probably more to do with 90% plus of the passengers hadn't been at sea before. They had no point of reference.

Yes you imagine quite a lot. If you read what I typed as mean spirited, that says more about you than it does me. I was simply speaking from experience as a failed business owner. Shit like Art Bell, getting laid, sleeping never hit my radar while I was working for myself. I was simply 2 busy.

Reflecting on my previous experience, if I were ever so successful to have a company with 70 plus employees, Art Bell, or a thread about Art Bell wouldn't amount to a hill of beans in my life. Even less so if my company was having problems due to current international economic conditions. But thats just me, hence why I said "if I had a company". Chefist may feel differently and hes more than welcome to tell me so, or tell me to fuck off if he feels the need. No ill will was intended, I was trying to be succinct and honest. If that came off as brutal in text. I apologize for my lack of diplomacy.

I like chefist even though hes a "Noobie" that missed the Art Bell Quits Dark Matter days. This thread, website, went to "shit" back then also. Give it time, it gets better. A forum is only as good as what the community gives it's power to. Be it good or bad. It's not Daddy MV, or Art Bells job to make this forum good or bad. Only forum members have that power.

I have listened twice. Both times she sounded sober. I have not listened since. And no it is not going to end well I say go out with a ban...aw snap I can't say that either.

If you listen to the old GabCasts you will just hear a girl doing a podcast, same as the show she is doing now.
Cept now she has a much bigger audience, but really she sounds the same, she was never nervous broadcasting.

You've said this before, a few times that I've seen. And you say that you know her and that you've spoken with her. It seems to me that if she really doesn't want to host the show, she must have a compelling reason to still be doing it, especially considering the lack of critical acclaim and drop in subscriptions.

Since you say in the same breath that she wants Art back, I must conclude that a big part of the compelling reason is that she believes that there is actually a good possibility of him coming back (and not just occasionally; that scenario still leaves her doing what you say she doesn't want to do). And that raises the question of whether she is somewhat deluded on this matter of Art coming back, all by herself or with help from others.

Been on the board since 2012. And it is a lot different. No one to bounce off of when you get in trouble. Oh and she sounded nervous the few times I did listen. Botched breaks, played the same song. I know I know it will get better. Not buying it. You either have it or you don't.

As for her habits, oh no I am not falling into that trap and getting told I have said something libel. I know she devulged a lot of personal things to several of us. I personally don't care what anyone is on as long as they do a good show. Beyond that I have not listened so I have no clue. Nor am I going to listen.

You know I took it down. I like her as a person. I just don't think the show is that interesting. I don't know. I don't want to spend all of the next few weeks bitching about it. I realized as I was typing there is no point. People are in their camps and it is a lot like politics.

That being said I take no glory in calling it. It is sad that this is how it all ended. I listened to Art for 20 years.
