No, that was "latched onto" because you are a vile human being. Period.
Okay then. That cannot be proven or disproved , however. Also there would be people who would fully agree and others who would defend me if this were ever brought up for a serious debate.

Lying however, can be proven. Which I did.

I'm sorry you dont like me. i'll lose sleep.

The Law disagreed. take it up with them.

When I dont like a law , I do my best to change it.

After playing catch-up on the thread, I am appalled at the lengths you have went to to troll Art and brand him a liar. You really want to bring up his son? You sir, deserve to be throttled up against a wall and have your nose broken by a swift and decisive head-butt.

I listened live, that night, when Art came on and told us about his son.  I was crying right with him.  The scumbag got life, but you still want to insist that Art lied?

I just want to understand where at, in your ego, you get off trudging up that very sorrowful time, and it blows my fucking mind that you would stoop to calling him a liar over the trauma that unfolded over his son.  This is What Matt Drudge broke in 1999:

Quote
Bell's son, now 18, told authorities that he was taken May 16, 1997 to
Tecopa Hot Springs, California from Pahrump, Nevada, bound in chains, and
was forced to commit sex acts on one of his substitute teachers, according
to case intelligence.

The teacher, Brian Eugene Lepley, 34, is now serving life in prison for the
attack on Art Bell's son.

Lepley befriended Bell, then 16, and his friends by bringing beer and
marijuana to their parties, and then soliciting sex from them.

Arthur Bell IV told authorities that had he not been intoxicated, he never
would have had sexual contact with Lepley.

Bell explained to the police that Lepley never told him that he was
carrying HIV.

The GNS thread is populated by people that actually seem to listen still. I don't listen any longer and really don't care about George Noory other than as occasional joke material.

Yes, but deriving pleasure from trolling is not normal behavior. It's obsessive and fucked up. It, in itself, is sociopathic.

Perhaps.

-If enjoying trolling makes me a sociopath, so be it.  I imagine if I was a sociopath I wouldnt really know it anyhow so maybe you're correct. Dont know.

I havnt left my family with nothing, had a continual pattern  of quitting jobs, inability to take responsibility, walked out on deals etc...etc... So, I'm fine with my negative traits like 'enjoying trolling'.

I'm tempted to blame the Internet. On the other hand, you can take people off the Internet, but you can't take the Internet out of people.

Human discourse requires a semblance of humanity. If you can't augment your argument without leaping into the sewer, your argument has no merit and you should just, stop.

I don't care about you, one way or the other. If you talked about my son, that way, I would silence you. Period.

Whats scary is that nutjob was in charge of the FBI on a good portion of the entire west coast and olympic security. I mean that too (no sarcasm) because hes a crazy motherfucker and its scary that he had so much power.

But the documents are there and no defamation case ever brought against him for this- Which tells me that at least the documents and conclusion is correct. Art sued him for far less.

If you wish to play a game of flame war I'll play. Ity'll take us waaaay off topic and be a pointless endeavor but could still be fun.

QuoteLee is, of course, not alone in having this anonymous violent hatred directed toward him. On parts of the internet it has become pretty much common parlance. Do a quick trawl on the blog sites and comment sections about most celebrities and entertainers â€" not to mention politicians â€" and you will quickly discover comparable virtual rage and fantasised violence. Comedians seem to come in for more than most, as if taboo-breaking was taken as read, or the mood of the harshest baying club audience had become a kind of universal rhetoric. It's not quite heckling this, though, is it? A heckle requires a bit of courage and risk; the audience can see who is doing the shouting. Lee's detractors were all anonymous. How should we understand it then: harmless banter? Robust criticism? Vicious bullying?

The psychologists call it "deindividuation". It's what happens when social norms are withdrawn because identities are concealed. The classic deindividuation experiment concerned American children at Halloween. Trick-or-treaters were invited to take sweets left in the hall of a house on a table on which there was also a sum of money. When children arrived singly, and not wearing masks, only 8% of them stole any of the money. When they were in larger groups, with their identities concealed by fancy dress, that number rose to 80%. The combination of a faceless crowd and personal anonymity provoked individuals into breaking rules that under "normal" circumstances they would not have considered.

You seemingly are. I mean, that you'd spend a significant amount of time digging through Art Bell's dirty laundry just because you're angry about a Sirius subscription is pretty abnormal, as is the compulsion to repeatedly demonstrate to people that you are an asshole. You seem out to make people loathe you, which I'd say it's a good bet that such a thing stems from self-loathing. Maybe with a touch of aspergers tossed in for good measure since you seem to have no filter on where you'll take things.

I recommend a hobby. Golf. Yes, golf will fix you right up.

You're an unusual guy. Most people accused of trolling don't admit to it. And they certainly don't try to defend it as well. Is this the beginning of the Troll Pride movement? Will we see you guys trolling down Cyberspace Street in unison, demanding to be tolerated and then accepted as equals? Every movement starts with one person, you know.

...Dont give me any ideas. Troll pride? Thats clever and I like it.

Why would I lie about it though? I can be really trollish but I'm honest and see no reason to feign fake reasons. Sometimes I troll for things I feel strongly about- This isnt one of them. I enjoy debate, back and forth, internet wars and such on occasion and it keeps me sharp (imho) and  quick thinking (hopefully)

I believe the things I'm saying, if that makes sense. I'm not just pretending I think Art is lying just to troll. But yeah, I'm killing time and having a bit of fun having debate and trolling a bit. If that makes me horrible, so be it-

Going after Noory en masse ("trolling" in your mind and maybe others) is one thing. Trolling other site members is something else again. Important distinction.

Well, you have groupthink and hero worship paired together, which is never good for independent thought.

Then the busiest hero worshipper of all is suddenly tapped to be AB's successor and the whole circle starts to make sense. (This also happened in the Church of Scientology, by the way)

It's the rank flattery that's hardest to watch of all.

K_Dubb

No, trolling is an art which some of us appreciate when done well.  Broaching an indecent subject (again) for what have got to be prurient reasons (since Art has given you such a rich row of appropriate material to hoe) is not trolling.  It is neither artful nor clever.  It is just bad behavior which would rightly get you thrown out of any group unlucky enough to have you as a member.

You're correct, Value Of Pi. That's what happens when people try to expand word definitions.

I would give you credit for an honest admission. But that doesn't change a thing in terms of judging behavior. Trolls are a plague on the Internet, like spam. So, you're one of the more honorable trolls? What do you think that gets you?

Yes, but you're one of those Disney trolls. Or maybe the Grinch That Stole Christmas (we want it back, by the way, BLM or not). That's another distinction.
