So honest question.  Will Art be on the show tonight in any form?

What's the bet line, what are the odds?
Anyone want to take wagers? Hmmmm?

You get up.  Go over to the TV that your husband is watching.  And turn the volume down.

Do you keep his balls in a water glass next to the bed?  Just in case you decide he might need them for two minutes?

You mean when Art took over Friday's show for about 30 mins? I thought Heather was good to go...

If we're lucky, Heather will get a mean caller, have a little meltdown, and Art will come to the rescue.  Hopefully this happens every night.

Right, the high seas.  You know when I imagine myself in the olden days of the "high seas", I don't often imagine myself thinking it would be a good idea to be aboard a Galleon  if the Captain decided to not go and he promoted a dockhand his Number One to take over in his place.

"Don't worry, he good boy.  He ties and unties the rope on the pier really well, and how he carries supplies to the ship is great!"
"All aboard!"
My, you are a foolish one.  You've had your little say, now go back to the kiddy corner.  Play nice. ;D

You can have the back... I'll take one of those sweet, juicy thighs.  ;D

Nobody taking a radio show seriously and hoping to be successful would put the dark matter news segment on to begin with. That will be the determining factor to a lot of folks staying or going. It might have been worth hearing that nails on chalkboard grade school report to hear art, but not sure anyone will be willing to suffer it for anyone else.

It wont matter if heather is good or not if people shut it off because of dark matter news. Just let heather read it or cancel it outright.

I just assumed Art typed in the news segments under his computers text to speech program and played that on the air.

Kettle corn.
Kettle corn?  I LOVE kettle corn.  I just might sit down and have some with you.

Ok, what are we watching again?

I'm still trying to process the fact that Art has done this again. When he "retired" from Coast to Coast lo these many years ago and then came back and then left again I was thinking that it's his prerogative to retire. Then the news about the machinations behind the scenes with Clear Channel pressuring him, etc started to surface and he sad news of the 10 year not compete clause. Finally he came back on Sirius and it seemed good, but somehow pressure reached there and he left again. This time with a 2 year not compete. But now this. Some random freak in the desert? Kind of makes the other times he bailed seem more like a pattern rather than some kind of concerted effort to get and keep Art off the air. Not pleased...

Of course it is a pattern.

The way and reason he left Sirius was the most stupid and selfish reason.  Keep in mind, there were a lot of people who went out and bought Sirius radio equipment and yearly contracts specifically to listen to Art, and Art quits after 11 weeks.

There was no pressure on Art at Sirius either.  He simply wanted free streaming for his listeners who were complaining about the streaming service, and Sirius said no, so Art quit.  It was as simple as that.
