I never thought I'd say this, but I just subscribed to The Other Side of Midnight too.  I guess when the ship is taking water, sometimes a man just has to roll down his trousers and plug the gaping hull breach with what's left of his pride.

I just cannot bring myself to 're-subscribe to that mess. Besides given what RCH himself said Friday it seems he is more an anchor than an asset. My interpretation anyway

Just a thought, if Heather does well and I am sure she will and if things are quite here for some time I may do a unannounced fill in once in a while. The biggest problem I had was the exact routine I had to follow with this stalking jerk. We are watching every car on our street and there have been a few. Living life like this is less fun.

All appendages intact. Just bummed, like everyone else.  No tears though, but that's just because something switched on years ago that muted my emotions (in general). I'm not quite sure what it was, but I think I know when it was: right after Art quit SiriusXM.

Sucks because I buried my grandma in April, and even though she was my favorite family member, I couldn't shed any tears. Made me the best candidate to do the Eulogy, but part of me is like, WTF, why can't you grieve? 

Can't tell if it's a gift or a curse.  Right now, losing Art to this stalker-asshole, I'm calling it a gift because it's kept me sharp as a tack.

Thanks for the well-wishing, but I'm okay.  She was an AB fan too. Brought my mother, g-pa and g-ma on board to C2C in it's magnificent hayday. My mother and I both enjoy Whitley, JBW, and AB. She actually called me to check on me after the AB news broke on Friday.

I am grateful beyond words to have the chance to keep the fire lit for Art... it's been... emotional.  I will cover many of your favorite topics; suggestions are still, and always welcome.  I do not have the science background Art has, but have a healthy curiosity of everything science related, especially AI. 

I am not Art, but there will be a noticeable Art influence, for I know no other way to do this.

If it is quiet at Art's place for a length of time, he may make un-announced appearances from time to time.  I have told him anytime he is ready, the show is his on a moment's notice, for it is his rightful place.
