Am I following you or are you following me? Or are we following each other? Maybe that's what happens when you take both pills

Take both at once!
The problem is this idea that everything is solved, perfected, experienced, or investigated by some binary system, proof, or choice. (Now it could be true that this is the way "it" is, but the assumption/mode that is must be so has already been questioned/proven.)l QED, oh crap; not possible.

I wish I had a good connection. I have one or two stories. They are probably funnier in my head than they would be on radio.

This should be a good show.

Yes! Posting here is fun, and the people are lovely.

https://www.facebook.com/JCWEBSTERTHE3RD is JC's real Facebook page.

A good few years ago he mentioned his Twitter account on C2C ( https://twitter.com/JCWEBSTER3RD ). The account is locked / private now, but i followed it back when it was public. Here's a screenshot I took a moment ago.

As you can see, on the Twitter profile is a link to the Facebook account he's posting on tonight

http://imgur.com/gUXHB38

EDIT: There was also a link (now removed) to his Twitter page on http://boilingpitsofsewage.blogspot.com, a site he DEFINITELY plugged on C2C along with http://www.cafepress.com/clamp

I thought the JC calls were tedious wastes of time.

One thing that was funny was early on George telling the audience that he'd asked Art how to handle JC.  I hadn't listened to George much and I remember thinking it odd the host of a radio show would have to ask that.

2000. The first day of the new millennium (in my neck of the woods). I talked to Art Bell that day.
I am sure that ART cherishes that day as well.

Morgus

Art just said after 2 hours tonight and no JC call in, that if he doesn't call during open lines tonight that pretty much proves that Facebook page is just made by some fake and that the real JC is probably gone...

markpaterson

HE LIVES! haha

I was literally just about to call it quits for the night, it's 2am EST here.

Welcome back buddy

paladin1991

I'll be a Falkie's uncle.  That sure sounds like him. But he sounds a little....sober?

markpaterson

I think he might be calling on Skype??? The audio quality sounds a touch clearer than a phone call, but still a little muddy, like maybe his connection isn't so great, so Skype is compressing it more than usual.

Morgus

A JC copycat caller made it on now. :)

It sure sounded like JC.  Maybe not the original JC. If it was a copycat then it was a great facsimile of JC #2. :P

The red pill only works once and it ruins your life. You can take the blue pill every weekend.

Errrr in the original matrix context, I mean.

Time for the Saturday post.

Tonight starting at 8PM Central until Midnight Central ( Thats 6 to 10pm Pacific for you guys in Rio Linda ) on http://ksyl.com is:Art Bell: Somewhere in Time. Where Art  returns to 5/20/94 when correspondent for TIME magazine, David Aikman, spoke about the politics of the day, Waco, and his novel that depicts a second Civil War in the US.

Ksyl has a live stream listed on their page and they can also be found on Tune-in.
If you are local to NW Louisiana or if the propagation is right, you can hear them on 970AM,
I do not know if the show is in the archive. Jazmunda might have the info on that. However from past info, these may be the "new" classics and may not be in the archive.

For those of you with a bent for nostalgia, from 6pm to 8pm Central, ksyl plays When Radio Was, with old radio shows from the time when "Radio was King!"

Also go to Youtube and "like" all the videos! Help us trend! http://youtube.com/artbell51

I haven't frequented this thread for quite a few days. And the past 30+ pages have given me ample reason to continue to avoid this thread.

I am not attacking anyone when I suggest Art's website needs a better search method. After a few months the archives are already problematic. A year from now the ability to find a subject will be nearly impossible.

I will add, that I still listen to Art's show through the archives. And that has been the saving grace. If I were to wade through the drama, and had wringing about whatever the current kerfuffle is I would probably bail. I expect the falkie thread to have problem after problem; I don't give a rat's ass about how much or little the old news guy didn't get his way. I don't want to know about payments or lack of payments. There is nothing I can do about those issues. I want an enjoyable show. I don't think that is asking too much.

Remember "Theres Magic in the Static"

The year is the dead give away. 1994. There aren't many from that year in the archive. Most of the 94 shows in the archive are Dreamland shows of varying audio quality. There are very few C2CAM shows from that year in the archive.

The SIT team seemed to have unearthed quite a few of these in the past year. Keep Em coming.

This is of course a "new" classic Lost In Time.

jazmunda

Little help needed. If anyone has just listened to the past week of shows or will be listening let me know if you come across the show where Art recounts his precognition story. I could have sworn I heard it but can't remember which show. I will be very grateful.

Don't let the barn asylum door hit you on the way out. :P

If you survived the Quits thread surely this is a walk in the park.

You're right, Jaz. I seem to recall it was with a male guest, last week. And the guest was not a believer in such things, I think. Hmph. Maybe it was Tess Gerritsen? She was pretty skeptical of woo-woo stuff. Note that she is not a male.

That's all I can remember, though. I'm clearly of little help. :(

99% sure it was in the second half of the Tess Gerritsen episode.

EDIT: His story is at the 1h54m mark of the Tess episode, just relistened.

Stop being reasonable, Onan.  You're making the rest of us look bad.
