Half-way serious and kidding. Though I will admit there are some good Californians- unfortunately the bad ones seem to leave and more elsewhere. I don't mind people moving but they often drive house prices up, bring with them their tax & spend values, add to traffic, and bring other odd political ideas. And try to turn the place in which they move into California 2.0 instead of modifying their beliefs or trying to fit in.

Californians?  Try living somewhere that's in the envelope of the Chinese market.  I don't think you can get a house in Vancouver proper for under a million CAD (there are a handful on the bad end of town for 800k apparently), and that's an old run-down home that's squeezed into a very narrow property on a busy street.  Add to that tax freedom day in Canada is June.  In America it's April.  That's not a bash on immigrants, but moreso on policies for investment properties in high density areas.

Oh and by the way....as everyone suggested last night on the GabCast, I did email Keith with my idea of starting a Saturday night live show on DMDN. Outlined the whole thing but, you know, I would be surprised if I ever hear back from him.

Apparently, there are those that are actively bad-mouthing me behind-the-scenes and hoping to have me 'shunned'. Oh well, eh? What can ya do? I'm just a girl with a microphone.

I did also want to do a documentary about Art Bell....came up with that idea quite a while back. (And a few others too) I figured Art is a legend in his field, the whole industry of radio is changing and will be forever changed soon....so now would be the time to film the man, tell his story and let all them people know the truth. He occupies a moment in history, our Art...it would make a great documentary.

No point emailing about that one either, I guess though.

Finally read something that explains it perfectly. I too, since this whole Leo leaving thing, have thought twice about this (discontinuing time travel status). It has left a bad taste to be certain. Then last night a caller called in and had no more mentioned his father passing when Art was upset at the connection and dc'd the call. I don't know what's going on right now at Art's place but it worries me. He's only been on (this time) since July and already the changes seem abrupt. I've listened to Art since the early 90s, and will always be a fan. This forum has been a relief. I can see why Art references it often.
