I'm good with the news segment.

Nobody does paranormal talk as well as Art. If mispronunciations are annoying then be thankful nori isn't the selection.

The news segment with Art is good, not the same rehashed crap but always something interesting.

I think I would miss it if taken out.

Norrey could read the live real time second coming and make it boring.

Yes, he drives me crazy with his "een" pronunciations of "ing" words. I can't stand that. On the other hand, Americans are generally abysmal at pronunciation. Most of them can't even pronounce their own nationality correctly. It's, well... "Amer-i-can", not "Amer-uh-kin".

I think I've been posting too much...can anyone recommend a therapist? (Redacted) and Jazmunda must of had an intervention and gone cold turkey...Rossy is RCH's producer...Art is too busy to post...maybe it's the post-blitz blues or something...funny what happens once you get what you wish for...

MV is still around...just distant and cold though... 8)

Regional accents are one of the beauties of a language.  There's a difference between mispronunciations out of ignorance and and deviations due to region.  Cultural homogeneity is a tragedy.

This is the Golden Age of Art Bell.  $5/month?  Best money I've ever (legally) spent

You know, I think you are exactly right. Post Blitz blues is precisely what I've been feeling.
Art's back! Now what do we do?

Its OK.  I always thought it was a little flat.  It needs some kind of sound behind it.

Everyone is now pacified and the need for constant updates has slackened. Just look at the live thread page numbers. People are (for the most part) just enjoying the shows and get Arts updates from the shows themselves.

This doesn't keep me from getting reprimanded by the fiancé for spending too much time reading here.

The morning zoo news ticker sfx?

It could be worse. Leo could do the news like Robin Quivers...

I'm growing to like the news segment more and more.  I think one nice touch would be some kind of short mini-bumper music or sound effect between stories as they sometimes blur into each other.

Art/Heather - I have a guest suggestion. The guys name is Blair MacKenzie Blake. He's like, close friend and confidant (as well as newsletter guru/webmaster(?)) to the guys from TOOL (who are fans) and he's into all sorts of weird, strange shit. Some of the TOOL newsletters are wild. Anyway, he wrote a series fantastic articles/essays for this book series I have called Darklore: Vol. 7 is about his experiences at Area 51, what he saw, etc. He and Danny Carey from TOOL were arrested (and he thinks possibly drugged):

-Vol. 8 an article about the Shaver Mystery.
-Vol. 7 is about his experiences at Area 51, what he saw, etc. He and Danny Carey from TOOL were arrested (and he thinks possibly drugged).
-Vol 6. he talks about Fulcanelli (strange 19th century author, alchemist, possibly occultist whose identity is debated).
-Vol 5. he talks about the occult influences of The Sirius Mystery.

He's a phenomenal writer, with tons of knowledge (especially regarding Magick and Aleister Crowley) and if you could get him on, what a treat. He may have lots to say.

I've always liked the news segment.  I like the sound of Leo's voice and the way he presents the news.  I especially like the format.  It's refreshingly different from the pablum the MSM tries to spoon-feed the public.

RoseGirl

So that time travel guy that cancelled last time is the guest tonight? Should be interesting.

I took the Post Blitz Blues pill and I feel a lot better.  Dr. says the rash should go away in a few weeks.

I thought there already was a weird squeeessooozzappp sound effect between stories... or maybe it's just on the feed I get.  ???

Art Bell

I did something today I never do, I listened to last night's show. What we heard was indeed the REAL thing. She was right in line with what Satan is, a trickster. Check out the part where she said yes, I can cast a spell and then the person goes to Hawaii and something wonderful happens to him. Presented like Satan's Council. Creepy

Do you think she was trying to lull us into thinking being a Satanist is a cool rational thing to do?  And then Bamo!  Got your soul.

Zenman

Hmm.. Good point, Art. Initially she had me going with "live and let live" and "harm ye none" type talk. I was thinking, "Good Lord, I think I might be a Satanist!" But after she started talking about the spells and such, I started to get a creepy sensation that made the hair on my toes itch.

I'll have to listen to that one again. I'll probably be scratching my toes tho.
