I want to thank everybody. I have been so busy it's just silly so if you don't see as many posts from me, that's why. We are still killing little bugs and it will get smoother as we go. Again from my Heart thank you all

Art

Art, my friend, you are truly kindred.  You were mentioning how totally dependent you are on the Internet right now... so that prompst this: If I were to send, say, a blessed and spiritually charged Quartz crystal to place on your router, would you use it to ward off evil? A piece of Tourmaline Quartz (amber colored quartz) would do nicely.
Charging crystals is easier than one thinks, and your daughter could do it for you! Just have her hold a piece of Tourmaline Quartz with both hands, and think about all the things that make her happy.  That innocence will resonate and it will hold that charge.  Then place that sucker on your inbound modem/router
Alternatively a piece of Unakite or Sodalite would do good to dispel negativity too.

No, I'm not the witch you were looking for, though I have peered down that rabbit hole.  I've peered down many various rabbit holes.  I do consider myself very spiritally blessed AND gifted. Intuitive, though not as much as when I was younger.  Still, some BIG things call out to me in dreams...  I'll save that topic for open lines.

Can you give the rest of us time travelers who are also downloading,  instructions of how to combine the evening's three files into one?
Thanks.

mp3DirectCut is what I use to join mp3's.
Open the program choose 'File' then 'Batch processing...' and in the next window chose your files, making sure the one you want to be first is at the top of the list and the one below it is next to join and so on. Once you've done that check 'Join to file' .. name it what you want then click start. That's the only little tutorial I can do for now.
If you decide to use it all the best. Been using it for years.

MV you should see if Noory will sign your Art of Talk audiobook. ;D

Art, man, the show was AMAZING last night. As I said in another thread, it felt like the good ole' days when I first started tuning in via broadcast.com, or switching on my radio. It just feels right. Thank you so much for coming back!

I saw one on YouTube earlier today that had commercials.  Really!! Not just ripping off Art's show but making money on it.
I didn't know what to do about it.

Send the link to producer@artbell.com

Yea BigT, just copy the link and email it to keith. At the very least he can probably get all of the piracy off youtube, but like a poster said earlier, getting all of it off the inter webs is likely impossible.

Art uses a Beyerdynamic headset, though I'm not sure which model:

http://north-america.beyerdynamic.com/shop/hah/headphones-and-headsets/intercom-broadcast-and-tv.html

That's cool. The DT 200 and DT 297 look good... They don't have prices listed so they're probably very expensive.

I assume all of the international flair with the callers comes from calls being free on Skype. If I'm not mistaken, back in the 90's calls to C2C were expensive for people located overseas.

That's not true. The International Line back in the day was Toll Free.

It's great that you still are dropping in to say hello to us Art!  Thank you so much for coming back (and doing it your way, your format as well--last night was perfect).

I'm looking at something like this...

It's a gaming headset, but people say it's also great for podcasting.

Art Bell is the best! The new audio sounds great!

Just do your thing Art. You are a busy man now with the program up and running. No one here has any problem with that I guarantee.  Just can't explain how "right" things feel again and how exciting it is to look forward to the night. Thank you!

A lot of this - and, I suspect that glitches or not, and co-hosts or not, and opinions or not, everyone will STILL be tuning in to hear Art.

I know this sounds a little freaky but it is like having a little piece of my youth back.

Looking at options that might include a t1

Art

For the record, a T1 would give you a rock solid reliable connection. I'm sure you already know that, but just adding my 2 cents!

Just sent Kieth Rowland an email asking him to officially "allow" me to be a volunteer technical adviser. I just need an official title and his blessing to help push takedown notices through on youtube. WOW, it's WAAY harder to get things taken down than it is to serve them up and pirate!!!

Yes, Rock Solid. A T1 was 24 phone pairs, offering 1.544Mbps, a t3 is 28 t1's bundled together, aggregate total bandwidth is  44.73Mbps. Pricing is typically around $1,000/mo for T1 and $3,000+ for T3.
A more economical way is ISDN, which bonds a couple lines together, and goes the digital route. would probably only run $150 a month for business use.

Or you can use a several ISPs, and aggregate them together. Get a router that support multiple WAN, failover, and load balancing, then he could have a dedicated copper link back to Kieth on a small-bandwidth solution like ISDN, so at least Art can stay online even if the callers can't get in. I'm sure he can entertain us.  He could read Pahrump city council meeting minutes and I'd probably still listen.

Art, I can only speak for myself, but it's amazing how easy it is to slide right back into the comfort zone with you. Last night's show was amazing! Tonight is my wife's birthday and we are going to a show, but we will be tuning you in as we leave it! You are my favorite radio host in history. You alone, as well as your guests, make the show. When you left C2C you took the show with you. I hope your ratings are amazing and get bigger and bigger as time goes on!

I'm glad for anything I did to help, and will continue to do so in the future with you needing to ask. Go be yourself, the great Art Bell. Everyone here knows you are running a full time show and you don't have much free time anymore. Do what you have to do, your fans will be there for you!

CornyCrow

Art is such a gentleman, and flexible.
I just listened to the last hour.  It was laughable when Graham kept trying to control the show, talking on and on and not wanting to break for Art.
Art always had a good instinct in when to allow a guest to ramble on and when to stop him.

Ayahuaska certainly sounds interesting.  There seems to be a church in Oregon and one in Kentucky.  I believe the US court allows only two (recognized) religions to use the stuff - for others it would be illegal.
