I don't know if anyone else has already mentioned this, but Howard Hughes gave a big shout-out to Art on his latest show and told of his return.

It would be interesting to hear an update on the Global Consciousness Project, which began in 1998 using the computer interface of that era (including 9/11, 2001).  Has today's technology, specifically, smartphones, with the wide and immediate exchange of global news and information been a factor--i.e., is our Global Consciousness increasingly more desensitized?

Conversely, we should all be reading the same news stories, reciting the same memes, and watching the same videos.  Hence if there is a global consciousness it should be largely in sync unlike ever before.

I don't know. It would seem to be that the thousands of channels on cable tv, political bent of news sources for any political opinion, the millions of different blogs, porn fetishes, news sites, and propaganda sites and instant streaming and ability to watch almost any genre of movie, documentary, cartoon, porn, tv shows, or cat videos would make us "less" connect to a common mind, or global consciousness, memes, political opinions, religion, etc. I would think this would tend to splinter, not unite. I could be wrong though.

Clyde's show was my best guess.  I have no idea now what radio show Art will be on tomorrow.  I wish he'd tell us:  the suspense is killing me!

Thanks for sleuthing that out and reporting back, Faustina.  Art said that the mystery show is heard on hundreds of stations, and that does narrow it down substantially.  Still, I can't think of anyone in that category with whom an interview of Art Bell makes sense.  What a fun puzzle!

Red Eye Radio? That's a big one for truckers, which have always been a big part of Art's listener demographic.

Not entirely correct.  Rush has guests on rare occasions.  He does not work for Premeire, he works for himself and has an agreement with Premrat to syndicate his show.

Being a Cumulus property, that would make it feasible.  I've never listened to Red Eye Radio before, but if it reaches a lot of long haul truckers, that would be a great promotional spot for Art. Art's story of being banned from a trucker's forum would make a fun segment.  Is Red Eye Radio heard on hundreds of stations?

Could we be sleuthing this a bit off?  How about the possibility of a guest appearance on a TV show with hundreds of stations?
