Is there really any comparison between the kind of thing that Art will be providing and the kind of sleep-walking that Dave dishes up night after night? Judging from what Art has said on here in the past he is more concerned about giving us a quality show rather than bothering too much about what the other lot are doing. As long as it pays its way and is a critical success I don't think there is much to worry about from other quarters.

Whatever they would do wouldn't amount to much more than spoiler tactics anyway, and they are almost certain to botch even that fairly simple task.

Who knows whether Art and RCH are friends. Maybe they are. Maybe it amounts to no more than having good on-air chemistry, giving us the impression that there is a friendship behind the scenes.

...um....just listening to Dave with his guest Richard Hoagland...and um....think I just heard a MAJOR spoiler.

Hoagland said he would be hosting the c2c show on july 16 (I think that was the date he said) and then he hinted that the show would go longer and that c2c should always be a longer show....and then DAve pretty much told him to shut up and that they couldn't reveal that yet for technical reasons.....I mean...wow...it even sounded like Dave muted Hoagland.

So.....it sounded to me like c2c is going to, dare I say it, have other shows on after the regular c2c show? If so, it sounds kinda like that may be how they are going to try to compete with Art and DM network...but having their own on at the same time.

God...this is getting nuts.

Did anyone else catch this on c2c too?

George promised Hoagie he'd get to guest host a show quite awhile ago.  I don't recall the details of why.  Apparently Hoagie nags him about it from time to time.

I think Tommy deserves to guest host a show too sometime.

You betcha. I'm setting it up right now, learning about Spreaker. It will be 3-5 am in the East, and that's the most exciting part, for me. I think RoseGirl and I will be able to make the exact right mood for callers, so they can talk about the show that just aired.

We'll be starting test runs soon. Learning the ropes as we go.

And that's precisely why I'm laying on the floor stroking out and losing brain matter. I remember that. I can handle and enjoy Art interviewing Hoaxland, but oh my god, I could not handle that guy with his own show.

Hoagland won a bet with Noory years ago and won the hosting of one c2c show which he said he saved for a special time.
