I've sent about 20 emails out to Canadian stations and heard back, so far, from 640am in Toronto. I would really love to get Art on the Ceeb.....so all you fearless Canucks out there, send an email to CBC Radio One and ask them to carry Art in their late night format. He'd be perfect for it.

Oh, it was 640AM CFMJ that is the maybe to carry Art and not 1010 CFRB?  Sorry my mistake.

CBC Radio would be cool, but I cant see them especially, shutting down their stream for 3 hours.

Listen, I want to lower expectations a bit, remember I am not 40 Years old anymore or 50or60 but in a Week 70. I will do my best but please keep this in mind. You all are raising the bar so high that even if I was still 40 I am not sure I could measure up. One other note, you will hear many of the people you know because this is a small field, only so many good people in it.

I'd totally pay for the ability to listen to Art's new show.  Especially if I know it's helping make the show happen.  My inner Pirate is cringing but this is such a special case.

You and me both.  I usually let him out ot play when it is a large, commercial company and try to keep up wrapped up for independents.  In Arts case, not only is it the artist directly benefiting, but it is a man who has already provided countless nights of completely free enjoyment... and he is willing to continue with that price tag for those who wish to take advantage of it.  I will be happily paying a small monthly fee for the pleasure of watching Art take over the world (again.)

I was trying to decide if we were being too hard on him, and perhaps he was not really that bad.  Then I went and read random pages from the thread dedicated to that show.  Nope, he sucked.

Perhaps if he were not so arrogant and just admitted that he was a "new" member rather than telling us that he had been around forever.  I would not want them to think that your audience is intolerant of bringing in some new blood (after all, some of them are getting on in age and, I believe that their health is not quite what it was.  It would be great to know that there is a plan for continuing to investigate this stuff.)  Just don't bring in a self-promoting jackass...

I remember that show.  I don't remember what Chunga did though.  I mainly remember the guests were nice and the evp stuff was as creepy as usual. 

I'd love to see a lot of shows on 8 things in particular.  I'd never get tired of these subjects and with You as the host, well it's divine just imagining it.

I concur, It'd be nice if Art vision would REALLY actually be a model that others follow and prove thay us pirates WILL pay for services, music, movies at FAIR pricing. Personally, I've been had for my fair share of purchased cassettes (ya, I'm that old...lol), cd's (nutz...), and dvd's that I paid full-pin on the backing of one song or cast actor that really were shit.

I think he may just be a living example of the whole "be the change you want to see", no?
