While bodies are always changing, shoe size rarely changes.  So if nothing else fits, the same shoe size does fit and that is comforting.  Also, for those of us who are height challenged, tall shoes make it so we can see what is going on up there.   These are the reasons I love shoes.   :D :)

Not ALL women... I have a basic disinterest in shoes with the only criteria being that the shoes are comfortable. I was shoe-traumatized at the age of 3 when my brother threw my beautiful sky-blue shoes, with flowers on top, into Athens harbour. He did it so I wouldn't wander off!!

Say what you will about EVPs but they were my favourite shows.
