I'm just playing roller derby when I'm there. Mostly 4th Street, "Retro row". Good times. :)

Roller derby?!  I love roller derby.  Are you a jammer?  Pivot?  Blocker?

Some certainly are from the American Southwest.  Having lived most of my life there, I recognize some of the terrain.

Joshua trees mean Mojave desert...Southern CA or Nevada...I live in the Sonoran Desert in AZ...I didn't see any Saguaros...

Jaz, very nice. I especially like the thunder clap at the end.

wotr1, very disturbing. Disturbing because it doesn't bother me as much I think it should.

Thank you for doing the leg work.  I know you use your hands to do computer research, but if I said; thank you for doing the finger work, I'd get in trouble.  I'll stay with the cliche. ;D
Oh yea! Can you imagine the gifs these animals would post?  :P

Wow.  PM your team and I'll find the next game and bring the fam.  I'll try to figure out which one you are.  No hints.  Althogh 'mostly jammer' gives me a big hint.

OMG! KTLA - Los Angeles, broadcast Roller Derby every Wednesday night back in the day.  The "Thunderbirds" is the only team name I can remember now.

The Thunderbirds!  I remember being at my Grandmother's house when I was a kid and watching it with her.  On KTLA?  I seem to recall it on channel 52 back when it was still English speaking.

Hell, I remember when Cali was English speaking.

Thanks. What would an Art Bell Trailer be without the Thunder Clap?

Yeah good work Jazz. I made an audio promo but after seeing Rossy's movie then yours I over wrote it with zeros 30 times to prevent possible contamination of ya"lls real work.

By all means please post it. It's all promotion for Art and that's a good thing. Rossy's trailer inspired me to do something I've wanted to do for a long time. We're all playing for the same team. Wait ..... What? Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Thank you to all for your kind words about the trailer.

I'm very proud of it because it is my first real attempt at using iMovie and it was all self taught and it only took me 4 hours to put this together. I'm lucky that my work has access to stock footage that I used as source material for the video. The true inspiration was the words coming from Art himself. Without them it is just a bunch of video of landscapes and starscapes set to some new agey music. Art's voice and his words make that trailer.

I was going through the stock footage that I have and have an idea for the next one.

Stay tuned ....

Thank you, Jazmunda for the lovely work. It is deft and thoughtful and exciting, in a Breaking Bad kind of way!

Do you also remember when Dick Lane did the Figure 8 races from Ascot? Man, we are going way back in the far back machine!!

So do I paladin, so do I.  I lived in Culver City back then, just a few of miles from the beach.

Back a few moons ago, when we used bulletin boards connected by phone lines before the real internet, a whole mess of us would dress up and go to the Star Trek movie premiers. It was a lot of fun and we got to eat somewhere, meet each other and go see a good movie (except for the first one). But now we have people all over the world talking on a forum. We need good transporter tech. Could you imagine the listener party? I guess "chat" will have to do.

*Sigh*

The thunder clap being used on c2c, is one that Art recorded himself many years ago.  Please correct me if I'm wrong Art.  Thank you.

You don't live there anymore?
I don't think roller derby was on anymore when I was a kid., but I know it was def popular back in the day! Wearing only a helmet., and uniform of course, but no additional protective gear. Crazy.
