I'm sure I lumped a few folks in that statement unfairly. What I meant was, when you blur your eyes at the monitor and stand back a few feet, the outline of a dick and balls begins to form.

                                               Announcement

I am sorry to announce that Keith Rowland has informed me tonight that he no
longer wants to move forward (he quit). This follows a conversation I had with him in
which I asked him to not snap at people. I was concerned because he was in charge of
the Business side of the deal which is a lot of work and involves dealing with people.
Business is built on relationships. He said the stress of all this was to much for him
which is understandable because there is a great deal to do on his side. He further told
me that he will turn his Network over to somebody else. All this was as much a shock
to me as I am sure it is to you.

As a result of this, it is less likely that I will move forward because I can not handle both
The Talk Host part of the job as well as the Music License matters, the Streaming deals
that have to be made, the Website, the Producer he had lined up and much more.

Since I have already bought all the Studio gear I will go ahead and build the Studio with
the hope of finding a way forward. This is not me saying I quit, it is me saying that right
now I don’t see a way to get it all done. If  I can find a way, I will do so, but this is kind
of a stopper for the moment. I will keep you all informed.

I'm kind of with Keith on this one. Watching him register an account and apologize for some dig he made on Twitter to a bunch of people who frequently and gleefully express disdain for him, just because he was ordered to do so, I thought to myself, "Damnit buddy, don't do it."

We can say what we want about Keith --  lackluster design aesthetic, not good with people, probably not equipped to handle some of the tasks he's been given -- but the dude was probably doing the work of ten people, probably not being compensated for most of it, frequently mocked and derided on message boards and podcasts, and all for the honor and privilege of being some famous guy's webmaster.

So he's an asshole. We're all assholes. I don't blame the guy one bit.

I stand with you on this about Rowland.  I love Art and hold him in very high estimation, but I think he leaned too heavily on Keith from what little I see about the undertakings.  I'd have gotten short with people too, I lack people skills, but I'm still a kind and loving person with a lot to offer an employer, despite my flaws.  I'd like Keith back, but I'd like Art to hire some good, trustworthy people who will have his 6.  If I had qualifications Art needed (I don't, I just a dumb LASER technician) I'd volunteer my services.  I have a BIL whose a huge fan who is a EE and software Engineer that probably could help Art, and he speaks Art's language, but he's already overworked and underpaid for what he does.

Art needs software people, web people, producers, legal representatives, and REAL friends not out for his money or fame.  Art is a mercurial guy (I know what when I see one because I am one also), he needs patient, calm, rational people to cover his ass.  In my humble opinion, Art is undoubtedly the best broadcast personality of our time, he's true talent, but like any genus he needs the right people around him.  He found a good wife after losing the wonderful Romona (he's really twice blessed), he's very lucky about that, but he's paid his dues having been in other marriages (I'm a divorce too, I blew it the first time around, it was just as much my fault as my ex's), and meeting the right woman is pretty hard to do, a lot of women will join you for a ride, but they won't jump out of the car and fight beside you when combat hits the bumper, having a gal in your court is hard to find, everyone is out for number one.

Art, even if it takes delaying things, take your time and work it out, I know you've been burned, but there ARE decent, loyal people out there, you've got to pray (as my Filipina insists) and trust in God to help make it happen.  Some of the greatest people in popular history didn't do it alone, but lucked out in having the right women and men in their court.

I'd suggest to Keith, Keith, don't out and out quit, simply insist on Art getting other people, and helping him fire the right ones, you've had his 6, tell him you still do, but that you've got limits, and don't worry if some people can't connect with your personality, nobody is perfect, just do what you can.

Maybe Keith can get one or two people he can delegate to in order to take some of the workload off of him.  That would likely reduce the stress and help stop this from happening again.
