I agree it would be good for Art to have a variety of shows,  but with the emphasis (say 80 percent of the shows) being about the paranormal.

Uncle, some of us marry because the woman is good for us and we know she offers good councel, a man is a fool if he doesn't seek his wife's sensibilities, unless she's some kind of idiot. 

Key to everything?  Over state and miss represent other's statements much?  Let's not be silly here.  I'll bet you she's calmed him down about this, that would explain him chilling and backing off a little.  I often change course after reviewing a days actions when talking to my wife.  After all, why have a wife if not?  Just for sex?

That's a fair description, Duke, and his career has suffered because he often winds up hurting himself out of spite for someone else.  It's part of what makes him Art though, so what can you do?  At least he's nowhere as bad as Keith Olbermann when it comes to that.

So, with Jimmy Church being a pathological liar. As others have stated I can see Jimmy actually having a longterm deal with C2C. At least, longer than a one time thing.

It might not happen right away, but he may be getting called back to be a 'fill-in' host more than once.

This just seems like more ammo for Art to use as an excuse for not coming back.

Seriously though, if Art didn't want to come back on the air, why would he try so hard to prove he wants to?  We're not talking about a pathological liar that feels compelled to lie for self gratification (and yes, I know someone like that, oh so very well).  I don't think Art is out to screw around with people's heads this way.  What does he have to gain. 

Art is mercurial.  I am too.  I've said and done stuff off the cuff and then realized, "whoops, maybe I've gone too far, maybe I'm right but this isn't a good move?"  We've all done this, and some men have an extra strong sense of honor than others, and for them, a handshake is a big deal.  Art is the kind of guy who will go way across to the other side of the world for what he thinks is love (something I've done too), and he's into honoring people.

He's an idealist, but that is part of what makes him so special.

Difference between calender age and maturity, surprised you didn't use the word "thingy" in that Noory/Church bit. 

Look we get it, you are offended by Church's silly Sandy Hook conspiracy theories, but you are not the Lone Ranger.  Do what I do when I find such programs offensive, use the "off" switch on your radio/phone/computer.  I was a Church supporter early on, but haven't listened to him since he started those laughable conspiracy programs.  I've made one brief comment to that effect here, I don't think my opinion is important enough to make multiple posts beating the same drum over and over again.

It was about 6 years ago, I called into Bruce (what's his name, that nice old guy)...  I came on the air and had a flush of fear overcome me suddenly and I told him "I'm so nervouis" and he said something to calm me, he was very nice, and then I tried and more or less said my idea (I forget exactly what it was, but it was that some certain thing was plausible because of such and such, and Bruce replied that he agreed, that made sense, and that was that.  I was shaking like a leaf for 3 hours afterwards.  I'm a different guy than that cocky lead guitarist in the local band kid I used to be...
