So far I have noted that he has used 'BTW' exactly three times in the past. Exclamation points are minimal. When used they are usually within the first sentence. Never more than 2 within a post. And he always signs with Art. Rarely with Art Bell.

A few thoughts...

1. I think the "one time thing" is bullshit. Unless Church has a guarantee that something big is in store, he could totally turn around and screw DMRN if Coast kept calling. He's been sketchy before. Remember that with Art's track record, ain't no guarantees anyway.

2. I agree that the style of Art's post reads a bit...different. However, I won't discount the possibility that he dictated it to a family member. Him and Keith go back a ways. Maybe he held some value in that relationship and realized that life is too short. Or Keith called him begging.

3. It's waaaaay to early to take any of this at face value. July is still some time away. And Jimmy's Sunday Coast debut is...tomorrow.

Having worked for Cheap Channel, I wouldn't be surprised if they assigned him the email address, and posted it on the site, just so the company, rather than Jimmy, controlled any email he brought in.  It would also make it more difficult for Jimmy to collect, for his own use, the addresses of folks who emailed him as a result of the show.  This is corporate power politics, folks.

Ok, good news Keith and I have worked out our problems! It was a simple
matter of lack of communication. Jimmy Church will indeed go on Coast as
a one time thing and they have said that he will be able to promote the Dark Matter Network as much as he wants! This is great because it is where my new home is in July! BTW I will be doing my thing from 9PM- 12AM P.T.

So, what happens if this Jimmy Church gig is NOT a one-time thing?  What happens if the rodents at Premrat like Jimmy Church and use him from time to time?  Two times.  Three times.  Four times.   Would the premrat rodents give Jimmy Church his own coasttocoastam.com e-mail address if they weren't considering using him more than once?

alias incoming email addy's to non existent ones so if a mail comes in from john.doe@example.org they change it to joe.blows@nonexistent.domain.com)
alter/remove text in the email body
create fake emails
and whatever they wished to do.

Art should have said something different, such as:

"I've talked a bunch to my longtime partner and friend and we've worked things out.  Jimmy will appear on the show, and, for now, it is a one time thing, at least, and he will promote DMRN, so it can be a win-win for us...  Sorry to upset all my fans, it's true that I jump to things quickly sometimes, but after being so badly burned in the past, sometimes a man does that.  BTW, the new show starting in July will be in a time slot from XX:XX to XX:XX, and we're very excited about it."

Art needs someone, such as one of us, to write for him and keep him calm, he's human and allowed to make mistakes, we treat him too much like a deity sometimes.  He's just a guy.  Speaking as a fellow man who's wife in Pinoy, I have some idea why Art married another Fil gal:  Filipinas know how to handle mercurial men, they are very patient but guide their men quite calmly and well, rarely starting a battle with their man.  My girl has a way with getting me to use my head and we very rarely have a blow out, and I always go back to her realizing I needed to listen to her.  American gals just don't have the patience that Filipinas have, it's cultural, it comes along with the long-suffering aspect of Fil life.  My girl keeps me grounded, which I desperately need.

guys...  GUYS, he just talked things over with the wife and calmed himself down.  Just like I say, Filipinas are good with mercurial American men.  Like like the occasional American because many Filipinos, IF they manage a decent living by standards over there, keep a second wife and kids, and while some American men cheat, it's less common.  They know how to handle us.  She was probably looking over his shoulder as he wrote it.  One would hope so, he should listen to his wife, I have a feeling she can advise him well.  I take my girl's counsel very carefully.
