Art Bell

I'm mostly a lurker here, though I read the posts religiously, but I gotta say I am bothered by the obvious "Snoory Trolls" now inhabiting these pages.  I am not prone to wild theory (I know, and yet I listen to Art Bell, and even Coast to Coast at times), but I really do believe Premiere is up to no good.  Without naming names, there are so many new posters, with pro- or semi-pro Snoory slants, that it cannot be a coincidence.  Hell, even Dave does not believe in coincidences!

Is my decision, just to ignore them and mostly just skim through their posts, the best option? Along with publicizing Art's new show wherever I can (FB, to clients, friends, etc.).  Or should I go nuclear on them, as a few have done here, and make this a scorched earth policy?  I am torn.

Surmo

Plus, it bugs me that the Snoory Sucks thread is getting more attention than Art's.  It really, REALLY bugs me.

I'd recommend just being yourself.  Just don't be Jorch.  There are already enough phonies in the World.  ;)

There isn't really much to talk about yet

Surmo

There may not yet be much to talk about, by way of Art, but there really isn't anything either regarding Snoory.  Same ole same ole, no change and lots of insincerity, but there's 100 pages debating that point when it is obvious. To me anyway...... though I am unusually perceptive. Or maybe others are not so much......

Hey guys, I found this site while searching for ways to listen to Sirius for free. Can anyone tell me if this is legitimate or even a safe site. I'm not very tech savvy and I don't want to risk downloading a shady program. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a similar question.  I live in a rural, low bandwidth, area and can't listen to live stream.  However, I can download the recorded shows.  Does anyone here know whether SXM have a less expensive option for this?

I think they are just saying Sirius Radio to mean similar music stations as they have, but they are all just free streaming radio stations probably.
Its not a way to get actual Sirius/XM stations for free, you have to subscribe to get them.

If you don't have a decent speed broadband internet, the only way to get Sirius/XM stations would be to buy a Sirius satellite radio with either a home or car kit that includes an antenna. You need the antenna to be mounted so it can see the southern sky.

Hi everybody, this is my first post, and I wanted to say that I also cannot wait for the return of the voice from the Kingdom of Nye! Some friends and I are going to get together and have a listening party his first night back. Someone mentioned we should have Art themed snacks. So, we came up with these:

Soupacabra
Nachoterrestials
Richard C. Hoagies

For dessert there are:
Linda Molten Cakes

And don't forget the drinks!
Michio Kaktails and Open Limes Margaritas

Let's talk setting up Sirius for newbies....so I called awhile ago and they offered me a free home radio or car radio kit, the onyx one.

I am thinking of getting the car kit and adding the internet streaming for a few dollars more. I like the idea of leaving the radio in the car and not using my phone for it while driving.

How do you guys use sirius or plan on using it?

Miley Cyrus outsells Bob Dylan. It's a societal thing. As in we're fucked.

I have the car unit and the internet at home subscription. I just reactivated when Art announced his comeback, so I have been playing around with sirius a little to get the hang of all the bells and whistles over the last few weeks. Mainly, I will listen through the internet streaming audio. I tried listening to some of the music channels but the experience isn't as good as music on youtube playlists (which pays much less for music).

i'd like a very dry father malachi martini.

Dear Mr. Noory,

Keith has an interesting post on the Art site showing the orbits of the Sirius satellites.  To cover Canada, a couple of Sirius sats orbit to the north of the US.  Depending on where you are, and what view you have, you might want to be sure to get the newer Sirius/XM radio to be sure you can also access these satellites. It would appear that the XM ones are only at the equator.

There's a depressing thought for a Friday morning.  Now I gotta' go to weeerrrrrrrrkkkkkkk...   :'(

IF anyone has the Clyde Lewis audio clip of when he talked about Art Bell, I'd love to see it linked or posted.

...Not to get too in deep (No pun) about where I was, or doing while I heard it in the background, but I was burning about 2,000 calories with my wife, and her voice noise was just loud enough to keep me from hearing half the words. Bad timing on my part  :-\

Here's a more depressing thought: it's not all that outrageous to see Miley Cyrus outselling Bob Dylan. "Why?", I hear the curious and logically-minded among you say.

Well, he's 72 years old for one thing. Were Dylan to outsell Miley Cyrus in 2013, it would be like having Al Jolson outsell Elvis in 1954, or Rudy Vallee outsell the Beatles in 1965. Okay, so Miley Cyrus isn't Elvis or the Beatles. So call it "Carl Perkins" and "The Dave Clark Five", respectively.  You can only buy so many copies of "Highway 61 Revisited" and "Blood On The Tracks". Besides, how many kids want to buy music from a guy who looks like a pedophile Bourbon Street barker?

Youth of America - the choice is your: iconic music from a creepy perve-looking guy; or mindless brain soda pop from a cute but seriously twisted celeb kid?........Crap, where's my Mozart?
