I think I may have actually thrown that out there first, but it doesn't matter. Neither does it matter that I was certain it would be terrestrial radio. I'm more than happy to eat my words and my misleading predictions. (Even if some of them were shaped by things Art himself posted or hinted at.) I'm just glad I never lost hope that this would happen, in some form or fashion, and my posting history reflects that. And now I can't wait--we will have six weeks of speculation and discovery, and evangelizing! Yes, I WILL get Sirius for you, Art. Or maybe I can get someone to get it for me...my birthday is exactly two weeks before the start date!

Well, I called it, scheduling-wise. I said in CoastGab a few days ago Art would probably do an earlier 3 hour show which would repeat later. This way it's not totally competing with Noory. Sirius was smart in knowing Art wouldn't go a full-schedule. They Taylor made the deal to his liking.

Holy sheep shit! Great news! My thoughts. I think as many of us as possible. We should all listen to Coast tonight. Give the old lady one last spin. Knapps hosting. Give Knapp some ratings recognition. And it would be a fitting tribute to Art. I'm sure he would see it as a big thank you from all of us. Looking forward to the new show! Can't wait!

Knapp really is Coast's best host, even before Ian left. I'd love to have had two days of him hosting, but it seems he isn't on tonight, just yesterday with the Seaworld episodes.
