You're welcome. You're not missing much on his page. It's a short teaser a month like this. Most of the page are people posting their personal UFO/Ghost videos and Art never responding to any of them. I'm sure he will be on there even less when artbell.com takes off around 2015

Maybe when he turned down whatever deal he was offered earlier this year because he 'wanted to do it for the right reasons' (and not just to upstage Noory) just wasn't the right deal but something currently in the works now is?

I hope so. My gut say's he will just do a blog on his website, but my heart say's he's a talker, so wanna take a ride must mean a new show of some sorts.

I'm just waiting for the next, "Things fell through" announcement.

Maybe a podcast or a weekend show that wouldn't interfere with his daughter's schedule during the week? I seem to remember that was why he didn't want to commit to a 5+ night a week program.

It's either a new show in some form, or a massive archive of his old shows. I can't imagine it being much else.

As much as I want to believe every utterance this guy makes, this cryptic bullshit has gone on for too long without much result. A few punctuation marks, an emoticon and some lines of morse code just don't cut it. I will believe it when I see it until then I will remain open mindedly sceptic. I've had my fill of cold hard disappointment when it comes to the master of the cryptic Art Bell.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a massive fan of Art and if he has a new show or podcast I will be listening. If it's just a blog I will read it. If it's a site dedicated to the worship of cats well ..... I'll visit from time to time. As the poster on the wall of Fox Mulder's office read "I want to believe". It's just that over the past year and a bit we have been strung along and left bitterly disappointed. Sure Art does not owe us anything but to continually leave bread crumbs that end in a trail of cat poo is losing it's excitement value.

Introductions and Hope

I admit i have been lurking on these forums for more then a few years.

Want to say hello to everyone who has clung to the hope of Art's return to radio.

This is the first time i really feel hope

Honest to goodness hope that Art will return in some LIVE form and at night.

I do not think this will simply be best of or anything like that.

I hate to admit this, but I have my hopes up just a little that this time may be different. I know, I know, it's like someone said downstream: Art's going to remove that football just as I kick it, but still.... "Can't comment now" seems a little like it's not the right time to make the announcement, whatever it is, because he can't, not because he won't. And I can't help thinking that "Want to take a ride" means exactly what it says, too.

But I'm still stocking up on extra soap to wash the egg off my face when all this inevitably blows up. :

Someone is toying with you. I can't imagine a distributor or solid producer going along with such amateurishness. Bell owned late night talk radio for a decade...if there were any serious activity for his return, there'd be A LOT of industry buzz.

Maybe Art is in the process of becoming whatever it was that happened to Howard Hughes - and wants to become an unknown recluse. And wants the world to forget about him - and stop discussing him on line. So a final round of pulling the football away to get everyone pissed off...

That, or he really does have something - who knows what - planned this time.
