Unfortunately nothing gets people back together like a funeral. But I agree it is nice.

Always had mad respect for Art for going against the grain when he decided to do this type of show. It was the first AM show I would listen to, he was something special during his peak.

Before Art, I first listened Tom Snyder at night on the radio. I had seen him on TV before, but I enjoyed listening to him more on the radio.

I was actually pleasantly surprised at the amount of people and news sources that covered Arts death. He hasn’t been on a well known show for wars. Yet, legions of his fans are coming out of the wood work.

Yes I did it as a professional courtesy, I was at that point Retiring and did not get a penny for it, there was no reason not to be professional about it. I only knew he had been working in the field and agreed to say it at the request of the boss at that time.

I would say some people are just sick, my Ramona had no Life Insurance nor did I, I still have none. Has this board come to the point that you all have nothing better to do than sit around and make sick stuff up? That's just sad because at one point it used to be fun in here, a little rough at times but fun most of the time, that's why I liked it, I don't mind jabs, as a Public person you have to get used to that but this mean spirited personal and Family stuff is too much, at this point I may not be back for some time, to those few who had nice things to say....thank you, for the others.... ...

They re-broadcast now for many of the tele-evangelists that have died. Many years ago.

So many of these 20-year old shows are still pertinent to modern times.  Somewhere in Time is remarkable... No other show could hold up like it does.

I was about to make a reference to him, because of the situation around his death and his network not announcing it, I ended up deleting it because I didn't think too many people would know about the guy.  It was maybe an hour or two before you posted the photo.

I had to turn it off after a few minutes. The crazy thing is getting a little cliche now and the people who usually have that take are the straight laced ones he first mentioned who wouldn't want to stay up late listening to a radio show anyway. Still, he has to try to let us know that he's not one of those people. Oh, really?! Goodbye then! Total FAIL!
