I believe it's the "StalkerCam' manufactured by PsyCo Industries. Bloody hell, for a man who was hounded off the air, now he's doing on-air rallies for Donald Trump and giving anyone with internet access a bird's eye view of his property.

The cynic in me says you're being cynical. No way will the (cough) stalker use that posted video to case out the property to plan his next move. Whereupon the female members of the household will be rendered catatonic with fear at the prospect of being murdered.

Not to worry.  Focus, focus, focus...must focus.

The same information is available freely on google earth. You can look at almost any spot in the US.

From your fingers to someone's ear! I hope he does, but what the hell will he say? Will he ignore all this previous stuff and just have a guest and host in the amazing way he does or will he confront it? Will he let himself open to open lines?

Tantalizing, simply tantalizing.

I am so psyched that you got to talk to Art.  I just heard the archive thanks to GS!!!  Great to hear you and so glad you got through.  Great call!!!

" You done it again Eric von Zipper Boss"

If everyone "really" had a birdeyes view of Art's property wouldn't he actually be safer?

Only if everyone had lost the will to live and had nothing else in their lives to do.

I guess the allure of Art being on once in awhile is going to work for me.

I suspect it may work for terrestrial radio stations, too, esp. if Art actually does start guest hosting once a week.  That would be a good selling point for whoever is calling up the terrestrial radio stations and trying to convince them to take on the show.

Hey, can we get back to talking shit about Heather?

-I don't think the Dyatlov Pass incident was about a Yeti, Heather.
-IT WAS! I don't give a shit if you're the guest! You're wrong!

Now that's a great host.

Can we all find some common ground? And agree that Art is better than Dave?  If so, maybe we can't start a grass roots movement to have Art come back full time.

You mean the same Senda who vowed never to visit the forum again, ever? But has, several times. That one?

Love that movie, but until I saw it, I had no idea there were hippies in the army in WWII. Why isn't that ever mentioned in the history books?  :o

If he did that, it would only be for a short time.  I would urge him to do it something like once a week.  Besides, he seems hell bent on turning HW into a star, so he is not going to push her out so he can return.

Having said that, the thing about Art doing a show only periodically is we've already gone through that and it, um, wasn't that great.  A show every night needs a lot of guests and ends up covering a lot of different topics, some of which are invariably interesting.

At the very end with Coast, Art was only doing shows some weekends, then just every once in awhile.  He could pick and choose his guests and topics.  It seemed to me at the time it was mostly topics like Consciousness, what happens after death, new age junk, etc.  The guests and topics were so uninteresting I finally stopped listening.  On the final show I listened to the guest was some person named Starfire Tor.

Fast forward to last Friday.  He spends the entire show talking about Donald Trump.  Is that really what people are wanting to hear from him after 3 months, and nothing scheduled for the future?  I'm guessing no.  On top of that his attitude was how 'entertaining' this election cycle is, and nothing of substance whatsoever.  Art is one of the people - apparently a majority in this country - that think the more one watches and absorbs main stream media political news, the more knowledgeable they are,  He sounded like the star pupil from the Lib Media indoctrination camp, summarizing exactly what they want us to think at this stage in the election cycle.

So full time Art Bell worth listening to, but only around for a few weeks or months, or a once-in-awhile Art Bell with third rate topics and guests?  That's no choice.

My suggestion is once a week, and BellGab chooses his topics.  Seriously.

I've been looking for a viable alternative to Art Bell for years.  Haven't found one, as Art is the Master at what it is he does.  When Art's not on the air, I make do with other radio hosts, whose shows I listen to more for the topics/guests than I do for the host.

Just heard Fridays show. Very disappointed that Art just talked about politics the whole time. I know he kept saying it was exciting, but it wasn't, it was as dull as dish water.
I won't be renewing my Time Traveller any time soon.

I completely disagree.  Loved all the political talk, as I'm one of the ones (like Art) who's finding the political theater going down in the country right now fascinating.  It's about as topical and as important as you can get:  whoever becomes our next President is going to effect all of us.

If I was Art Bell, I wouldn't let BellGab pick my nose, let alone topics or guests. He has a lot more supporters in the FB groups than he does here.

Best way we can influence the contents of the show is by sending detailed guest suggestions (preferably with contact info for the guest) via email. Posting suggestions on BellGab is not going to make anything happen. Heather is still doing the producing. She doesn't read BellGab, even if Art continues to lurk.

That being said, I am sure Art is going to pick and choose his own guests and topics. I don't see him taking suggestions if he is only doing a show every once in awhile, or even 1-2 shows per week.

Honestly, after what he said on the GabCast, I don't ever see him doing more than one show a week.

Hope I am wrong.

Yes, which is why treating it like a vaudeville act, instead of discussing the serious issues affecting the country is a disservice to us all

He will not do that.  This is where he had always planned to end up - except he expected a smoother transition to Heather and more support for her.  THat's my take, anyway.

Reminds me of the bumper sticker a friend had on his much loved, but unreliable old Alfa Romeo back in the mid 80s:

Ha, that is so true! My dad had an Alpha and then a Lancia. My brothers are I always criticized him: "Dad one of these days you need a car that works" because he'd always be calling and wanting a ride or pick up from mechanic etc.

I'll make bumper stickers from now on.
