What is the deal with the "art killed Ramona" stuff?
My understanding is she suffered an asthma attack and died.

I'm not sure.  My husband has/had asthma.  He said it's extremely rare, these days, almost unheard of, that an adult dies of that disease these days. 

That, and his remarriage was so swift, and probably that he left the country for a while. 

Art's life has so many incidents in it that can point this way or that.  There are always logical explanations for these odd coincidences, but they do lead people to talk.

No.  I don't believe he could do such a thing and still present a show with such topics.  Most of us have relatively uneventful lives, but we are not in the biz and I guess anything that happens to such a person will be open to speculation.  It's just part of the terrain.

I don't know.  I read somewhere that it was odd that months before her demise she was not on the show and he did not even mention her.  That is a vague recollection on my part, but maybe if someone listens to the shows of that period they'll settle that question. 

Maybe some psychic told Art that Heather is a reincarnation of Ramona.  Yeah, I have some imagination.

The last few years with Art have felt a lot like Gilligan's Island. Every week, I was sure they were about to get rescued. And then, no rescue. A few times, possible rescuers actually did show up on the island but then disappeared. Still no rescue.

There was no rescue, no resolution for the castaways until some big cheese at the network cancelled the show. Unfortunately, we have no big cheese at a network to wrap up the current situation and allow us to move on.

Can you imagine if Gilligan's island was never cancelled? The castaways would all go batshit crazy before dropping dead. This is our fate if things go on like this. Pass the coconut milk, please.
