Maybe Ed Dames could remote view the guy.

I'm sure he's being considered as a professional option to resolve the case.

He hasn't said anything like that. In fact Art is very mild and non-opinionated compared to most places on the AM dial.

Do you listen to the show?

From Art's Friday the 13th of November show:

pate

While waiting I hope he is cleaning the action and keeping the powder dry.

Or whatever the modern version of the blunderbuss is.  Get the rock-salt 12-guage shells out for the first round, buck/heavy bird-shot for the next and slug for final round?

Stay safe, sir!

HumanBeing

I think these incidents are due to Art giving a lot of focus and attention to some subject matter that is really causing some disturbance.

Art is making huge waves since his return and some person or group is not liking that one bit.

Total speculation here. Did one of the previous events also happen not too long after the last David Jacob's appearance? One may scoff at the idea of Jacob's research getting so much attention, 3 appearances over a few months, but if Jacob's is right, well that might disturb the apple cart enough to create a lot of concern.

Art Bell hasn't the reach that will change the world. It could be unconnected to anything to do with broadcasting and a 'local' dispute. Or as the FB post suggests, a fire cracker.

Over the next several hours, we will see endless, wild-assed speculation here, ranging from "Art's over-sensitive imagination" to "Bigfoot wielding a .223 and a grudge".

Like you say, it could be anything... and hopefully, no one will come to harm.

Yes, I do listen.

Art mentioning something he read on the internet does not mean he has a, "belief that we should turn a substantial part of this planet to glass."

Bonanza Pilot

I doubt it's anything content related. Probably just a crazy.

Also, I remember that Art owns a good set of night vision goggles. Not sure of how good the range is on those, but perhaps it would help to put them on and take a peek around a bit when heading to his studio.

OK, so you are a bit pedantic. If you listen to the clip, Art is clearly suggesting that perhaps ISIS needs "radiation treatment" and "not the medical kind". Unless you are an idiot, you know full well what he was suggesting. He has also suggested, multiple times, that if what they want is Armageddon, then we should bring it to them.

As prefaced in my statement, I am just wildly speculating as to why anyone might be so deranged as to go after Art Bell. An individual with a misplaced sense of slight to the followers of the bearded paedophile, might be one scenario. Two of them, apparently, just shot up a Christmas party in California, for similar reasons...

Lots of speculation here again, I guess I'll jump in.

The first incident was in Oct.  When I heard about it I remembered a religious nut that made some very nasty comments on Art's fb page a few days to a week prior.  He was telling Art he had no business covering certain "evil" topics on his show.  The guy's comments really creeped me out at the time.  But when I looked back for the posts after the event, they were no longer there.  I hope the guy's fb info was noted before posts deleted.

This is awful, I'm concerned for Art's safety.  He and his family don't need this stress.

Again?    :o

Flood lights sound like a great idea, and maybe a remote controlled high-powered spotlight?

b_dubb

It took twenty minutes for law enforcement to get to Art's house?! For a shooting?!

Hmmm; a) Out in the sticks
             b) No funding to have a more local police force
             c) They were finishing watching the Kardashians on TV

dan7800

This is awful that it happened again.

Vetted Art Bell fans around the world could remotely operate a swarm of night-vision surveillance/attack drones over Art's property during the show.

The fleet would be called "Art Bell's Sky Kings."

Art's expense would be about zero because there are several hardcore fans who would willingly purchase the equipment to be used.

MV would have to go set it all up.

Can't you hear the command from Art's "radio shack"?

"Swarm! Into the night! My winged dark children!"

You know you want to.

bellNwhistle

HOW does it keep happening? I mean seriously.

How does anything keep happening? Why do cars keep crashing? Why do people still insist on making cutting gestures with their fingers when looking for scissors?

bellNwhistle

Well, clearly that's the only way to show you need scissors..

Not the best idea to tell the bad guy(s), and the world for that matter, the police response time to his property.  Of course, it's probably not a good idea to even acknowledge these incidents publicly as he continues to do, but....

I asked my cat to help me find something once. She did. She turned her head in one direction, which I followed, and voila!   ;D

I find most useful to, instead, use the two-handed 'levering' motion for both pliers and hedge-clippers.

Part of me thinks he's just going to say "to hell with it" and go to ground for good. It wouldn't be the first time, his previous retirements all had the same precursors of drama; and he is 70...I mean, I hope it doesn't work out that way, but at that age and with a young daughter, the job can't be worth the stress.
