As long as he doesn't want them aired, I find the same message hidden in the description of any Somewhere in Time show moving forward.

I think Premiere is going to start playing the shows where Art is political and conservative .. After all John Wells follows

Do I ever hate to side with the station on this one.  If they bought the rights to his past shows or to broadcast them into eternity they should.  There is no doubt that they are still making money on them and there are people paying a daily cost to access them and be part of their big insiders club because there is still some connection with Art.  Why would any business take a loss by not broadcasting content when they have already paid for the rights? 

The fact is that Art knew what he signed when he collected the cheque (he was not new to radio or contracts and would have a good lawyer look it over.)  To come back years later and basically say it was a mistake and that he would like them to voluntarily quit is unrealistic.

The above applies only if there is a legal right to continue the broadcasts... if not I am sure he will take them to the cleaners for copyright infringement.  With the direction and quality of the present show he even has a case for assassinating his charachter by pretending that he stilll has a connection with it.

I use dar.fm to download "Somewhere In Time" every Saturday. Even if they did cancel it, I still have over 25 gigs of bootleg Art Bell shows, WITH MUSIC unlike that Streamlink crap.  Most of it was found on isohunt and thepiratebay, so download like mad people!!

    Both numbers are vastly inflated. Maybe 10 million fingers and toes, but not people.

         Art probably had close to 3 million at his peak....Noory is probably around a million.

So 3M tune ins over 5 nights per week averages to 600,000 people per night.  Of them, a certain mumber may only listen to 1 or 2 segments,if that.  Others may only listen to the newsgore or just the first hour.  Some listeners may tune in for the first few minutes of the guest and end up turning it off and going to bed unless they want to hear more.  I would guess by the end of the second hour George may have as few as 10-20,000 people tuned in - cat ladys in trailer parks, people cooking meth out in a shed, some security gueard and truckers tired of their CDs and music stations.  But wherever George goes he can always count on about 50 of these people showing up to cheer him on.  Yeah, great job George.

I am fairly certain there are no actual listeners of Coast to Coast AM during the night.  These figures come from unattended radios that are left on during the night, from day time radio listeners. Such as in various office buildings, idling trucks at truck stops while the driver sleeps, day-shift-only factories that leave the radios on, electronic or stereo shops that close at night, and streaming day time radio listeners whereby the users forget to shut off the streams before going to bed.

It might be a good moment for me to say I will NOT be returning
to Coast in any form. In fact I have requested that Premiere Radio
cease Broadcast of the Saturday "Somewhere in Time" shows. My
reasons for this are at this time private. However if they choose
