No, SiriusXM weren't going to be able to fix their streaming issues in a timely fashion and Art wanted a free stream on his website until they worked out the kinks. SXM wouldn't budge because they desire exclusive content, above all, and only offered up extended free trials to users complaining about the issue; it didn't have anything to do with Coast to Coast or their contract negotiations. It's too bad they didn't bend on the independent broadcaster suggestion that Art made once communication broke down because free trials for a bad stream service wasn't a resolution.

Mr Finger, go ahead and believe that nonsense. Art was railroaded by C2C and SXM because a deal was in the making to push Art off SXM. Art didn't want to be on the same network as C2C.
SXM went with C2C because their listener numbers were larger that Art's at the time.

Like SXM just happened to get back on SXM right after Art left. Geez Finger, we all just witnessed how long contract negotiations take with Art's latest deal.
I negotiate contracts every week at work, the easiest ones take a few weeks, many take one or more months.
Point is, SMX and C2C were working on a deal while Art was on SXM. It's always follow the money, that explains all.

I think that I like this version of Dave better than the one who came around last time.  Last time it was a desperate attempt to show us all that he is a "good guy."  This version seems to be content to write off the hundreds (or thousands?) of people who already dislike Coast who post here and just show himself for what he is.

The fact of the matter is that very little (if any) of this is likely to get out or really spread beyond a community where he is already disliked (or at a minimum not respected.)

No, this is a better, more entertaining Dave.  So... Welcome back Dave- post often, and keep trolling (though preferably in the "sucks" thread just to keep the board tidy.)

It's a good point...he feeds off the drama like a leach to blood. First rule of dealing with trolls is to not deal with trolls. "Don't engage". It's just sad...he loves it so much.

That's Dr. Finger, sir. Again, C2C had been off of satellite for months and they had been negotiating since before that time while Art leaving ramped up those talks. I don't believe the suits at SXM wanted to cut Art Bell loose when they were the ones that courted him in the first place, it was only after the stream issues when they were given an all or nothing ultimatum.
