Getting a contract right takes time, the Lawyers have to make the final copy and then we have to read that so not yet. Nothing like this is fast.

As for lying, I was not of course lying but I knew there was danger in telling that when I did because somebody can always say you lied. Oh well, People will believe what they want. However in this case a Week later there was a story in our paper about many others who saw it on the same night.

Art
Glad your lawyers are working on the contract. Hooray!
I've seen weird lights in the sky, and on the ground. Many, many years ago (1969) I was at a friend's house in Northern rural San Diego County. The house was at the end of a road that bordered some sort of open space, possibly a ranch. There was a hill in that area where no one lived, no structures, nada, except maybe a few cows. It was at night and we were out looking at the stars. We saw a very large, white light meandering in the sky, which we initially thought was some type of plane. Then this light touched down at the top of the hill, and meandered down the hill until it got halfway, then quickly floated into the air and went behind the same hill. We were near Camp Pendelton Marine base, maybe it was a top secret experimental thing? (drone?) Who knows?

I have no idea what it was, I do know what it was NOT, the Air Force said it was a C130 on a secret mission over our valley. LOL

Art

Art have you seen anything else paranormal in your life or experienced something paranormal?  If I remember, for one you have said you've experienced Shadow People.  Anything else?

Me--nothing so far!  Though my dad's favorite song played in the hospital waiting room very soon after he passed.  That was spooky--I believe it was a message.

sure, I work as Pizza-rolls cook at Premiere.
And I explicitly said I don't consider it a lie. I thought it was a PR stunt for the show, but since Art bothered to address it, I believe him.

Way to backpedal and tapdance around that like Fred Astaire there ... or maybe it's (Ginger Rogers - since she did everything Fred did backwards and in heels).

To be honest you have posted a few things that make me suspect you are indeed a Davebot. Just FYI.

Haha. As you well know, C130's are big and unmistakable. There's nothing secret about a loud turboprop...

Correct me if I'm wrong Art, but didn't you have at least one OBE, and a premonition about your car getting hit, and watched it happen out your window or something like that?

A secret mission over Pahrump?  Makes you wonder what really goes down at the Pahrump Nugget casino.   ::)

Aliens do like to hit up the slots.

Art. I live 12 miles from Grissom  Air Reserve Base in Indiana.  I have heard your discription of your experance.  That was no C-130.  They fly those out of base all day long. Yours was silent.  No way a 130 can be that quiet.
Closest thing ive been to anything paranormal was my house my parents lived in was possed by a demon.

I agree with an earlier poster that Clarkson would be a phenomenally entertaining interview! I think there are a number of ways in which it could be made relevant to a show run by Art. Perhaps through Clarkson's interest in military history, or even through his dealings with censorship, large bureaucracies, the television industry, etc.

Same goes for Gillian Anderson, though I think a Chris Carter interview might be more engaging. Anderson is interested in all kinds of weird crap, and Carter is probably more into this stuff than he lets on in most public interviews. It would be neat to see whether he'd take a clearer stance on anything interesting.

Speaking of Clarkson, and one Ms. Gillian Anderson who was in X-Files. I was surprised after seeing an episode of Top Gear she did in which she spoke with an English accent. It kind of freaked me out.
Yeah, apparently her accent changes based on location. Someone once told me that a person tends to speak with the accent of the culture they find superior. Of course, it was a way to explain why her British boyfriend had no accent. I just thought he told her that because she was giving him the 'pooner.

Did they win any money?
That's got to be an interesting exchange rate!

Probably better than the Ruble, though.

Pretty sure Art did interview Carter way back when.

Damn! Now I can't wait for open line nights...

Well then I know what I'll be looking for this evening!

Art Bell

Well I think I had a OBE that was wonderful, fast and scared the hell out of me. We ( Ramona and me) had two sightings, one far away and one REAL close. I did once have what I thought was precognition. For my life, that's it.

Art

Skunk Ape

Just noticed that Dave's comment about the alien abortion made top right.

Glad to contribute  :D

Do you think that REAL close sighting was alien, dimensional or man made?  You must of got a good look at that baby.

Art Bell

As I have said many times, it was anti-gravity so either it was ours or from elsewhere, you pick.

No chance that it was someone flying a really big kite? haha

I've thought many times about if I would rather know 100% either way if aliens were visiting us. On one hand I could have the whole topic ruined for me and know that everyone is lying, or on the other I could be someone who 100% knows and someone nobody believes.

DesertFox

Yeah, I had forgot the details--so it was physical, anti-gravity and NOT dimensional and/or some image projection.

Hmmmm....alien or ours?  It wouldn't shock me if we had a ton of advanced tech that was hidden...especially in that area where there certainly is a military connection.  Guess can't rule out visitors either.

Art Bell

I would like the same answers but just seeing a craft does not supply them, it just raises more questions.

Which is sort of the magic of your show--mystery, the unknown, perennial questions, campfire tales at night.  Midnight in the Desert, indeed.

Do you think you will ever tell your Ouiji Board experience?

If you didn't want to do it on the air, you could tell the story here  :)

Hello caller you're on the air....." !!! !!!

Ive allready told the story to Art on air during his Dark Matter open lines.  About the 1:10 mark.  When you hear "Art Mega roswells, tetra-roswells and 51's from Bellgab"  thats my drunken ass.  I was still nervous as heck though.

Basically we lived in a rental when I was 1 year old. (And no I dont remember)  I was told by my mother that the gas stove would light by itself, the toilets would flush middle of the night. And there was a room at the top of the stairs that would be cold in the summer and hot as hell in the winter.  So they went and got Holy Water from my very Catholic great grandmother. And my moms mom sprinkled the water on the doorframe of the "hot/cold" room and said "If there are any devils or deamons in this house, GET OUT!"  AND. THE DOORFRAME SHOOK!

Creepy. But a great show topic.  Too bad Father Malachi Martin has passed. Listening to those shows at night was the best.

He contacted the Great Radio Spirits. They foretold that the Evil Mustached One with the Fouled tongue would come in the new millennia and release a plague of stupidity (and Carnivora) onthe poor radio listening masses....

Or something like that.

not really. "lies" that's a very unfitting image for C2C. George doesn't lie any more than Art Bell. They're entertainers first and foremost. Personally I don't believe Art's story about seeing a UFO is true, but of course I can't prove it, and it's entertaining. I'd never imply any of these hosts is a liar.

I'm sure Art stays up at night worrying about your opinion. /sarcasm

Interesting. I know parahump has gotten a lot bigger. I wonder if it is too big for these secret missions now.
Looking forward to the announcement. Maybe nex week or so we will have something. Glad your taking your time with it.

How is guest booking going to be done? Is that pretty much on your new producer?
