I like your letter except for the paragraph already mentioned, which does sound a bit selfish and patronizing.  Also, I think the remark about "the fat lady" is demeaning and unnecessary, although I understand that your intention is to enhance the imagery of George's continual carny barking.

Art only had the two public e-mail addresses that I'm aware of. The AOL one and the Mindspring one. And I think the AOL one no longer exists. Sadly, I highly doubt you'll get a response. I've sent Art a few e-mails over the years and never once received anything back. My most recent was just a couple weeks ago, I wrote to tell him that the TV show Cops aired a segment from Pahrump, I thought he'd get a kick out of that. No response on that... at least not yet.

I'm not sure I follow. How did it come out that his mindspring acct has been canceled?
