Ugh I feel like crying right now. Up until yesterday there used to be a YouTube channel called Ghostly Matters with 12-hour binge videos of all of Art's best shows, including all the Ghost to Ghost shows, the GIS EVP shows, Paglini, Father Malachi, you name it.

My intention today was to use one of those websites out there to convert the above-mentioned into epically long mp3s. I just set up my laptop to get started and of course the channel has been killed. F U YouTube. I'm pretty devastated.

I know you guys suggested torrents but the last time I tried that, I got a bad one and it wiped out my whole computer. As in killed it dead.

WHERE CAN WE EVER LISTEN TO HIS CLASSIC SHOWS NOW? Hell, I'd PAY FOR THEM if the family wants to release them.

I'm so bummed. I hate myself for being such a PROCRASTINATOR. I meant to snag all those things yesterday.
I know you don't like torrents... But the one that came from here is a massive file and is safe.  It has been on my computer for a number of years, and most of us have it.

I will PM you the link if you want and you can try again.  You don't have to rely on somebody else to keep your programs up when they are (backed up) on your hard drive...

***Of course, MV has full access to our computers and the video camera's.  But his demands of blackmail are never outrageous...  ;)

Airyn could make a nice bank roll with an auction of Art's hardware and radio gear.  Plus, think how pissed off HW would be, being left with a string and a tin can to do MITD.

Minus genuinely rare pieces of audiophile equipment, the real value to AB's gear was its former owner.  Most tech gear only devalues over time.  Exceptions always exist but aren't common.  His mic would probably be best in the Smithsonian.... That last stunt (assassin/stalker) probably will keep him out of that place.

I think he sold the KNYE station but, if he still owned the FCC license, that could be worth something.  Any telecommunication licensing he owned (microwave transmitters, special high speed lines) could also have value in a growing community.

Thank you so much. I had a weird freak-out moment there for a second. I'm stressed the hell out these days.

Ok yes please and thank you. I would appreciate the PM. I feel like a hoarder all of a sudden. ALL THE SHOWS! IN MY CLUTCHES!

Yes, just being owned by Art should make the gear an interesting collectible.  Broadcasting history.

I'll bet his atomic clock(s) would bring a nice price, after all his talk about them.  OK, time to chase the circling buzzards away for awhile.

It would be cool to have his RE-20.

Did he sell his Trans Am?  That would be sweet if it's still on the compound.

I thought I saw Ghost 2 Ghost compilations at archive.org too. I’m busy, rarely at a computer to take on an entire torrent. But like YT, archive.org is good for phone quickies on the run. 🙂 Lots of other good stuff there also.

Noone wants the RV that Ramona died in?

Nope.  No clue.  I could give Stadtmiller another call, though.  Problem with that is that if the call is not about Stadt, or giving money to Stadt, it's hard to  get the time of day out of him.   I also 'know' a dude in Spokane who might be able to do a professional search.  In other words, he's in the business and might come up with something.
Yeah, John is a piece of work. He still up in a town turned city near me, I think. Ah, the feuds of right-wing shortwave, pirate, and internet 'radio' hosts back in the day were fun and crazy. Get the dude you "know" up in the great Inland Empire to figure out what happened up there to Piper in that hotel room. Suspicious.

Crap, that's one of the vehicles probably still in the stable.  I want that Trans Am. ;)

I swear Art said it was totalled after Art the IVth rolled it.  Then he referred to still using it afterwards.

Totalling it via insurance write-off is one thing, but after rolling it, I'd think the pillars and structure were damaged and it would then be a safety issue.

"Barnfinds, UFOs, and EVPs At Art's Compound" could be a reality tv show! On the one hand you get folks trying to find vintage cars and radio equipment and then they are bidding against ghost-hunters and UFO contactees!

If you want a good torrent program, I suggest using qBittorrent.
After installation, you can actually select which ones you want to download to your hard drive by unselecting the checkboxes by the filename.
This way you can say select 20 files for download at a time from the list.
When you install the program, make sure that the "associate with magnet & torrent files" is selected. Easy stoof.
BTW I pulled all the files recently from the Mega Torrent posted here this week without problems.

Just get the Ultimate Art Bell Collection and you'd be all set.  It's 62.05GB in size.

I'm starting to see a 30 minute late nite TV infomercial.... for the Time-Life Ultimate Art Bell Collection... Who should host ???

On tunein you can search for “art bell” and a bunch of stations come up. U7radio is one. The others are easy to recognize. PM me if you have troubles and I will get the actual links.

I did that earlier tonight, using the TuneIn Roku channel.
I thought that all of the audio sounded low bit rate tin-can like.

I could see RCH doing it regardless of authority to do so. He likes to name drop. His Kenny Rodgers beard and hair  good looks and bolo-tie would be good for the late-night catladys shut-ins still watching tv at that hour. It would be a way to 'get back' at Norry. Plus he is used to selling stuff- like 'pictures' of structures on Mars, books, videos, Miami Circle medallions, etc.

If his ego could be held in check for it he would be a good choice. I suppose if it was an edited feature it wouldn't matter so much.

We have a winner.  We're not only talking a show, we're talking an entire channel.  Of course, Noory will regularly appear, similar to Ancient Aliens.  That should please Art to no end.

CNN would report on it if we spread the rumor it was Trump’s favorite channel when shark week wasn’t on.

I like your Hollywood-style pitch. 'Let's do lunch,' hangers-on can have tapwater while we swill wine and expense it. I suggest we also expand demos to include pawnshops and storage-unit auctions. HELLO-  Hanger-18 special, baby!

Up All Night

Tonight, while I was taking a shower, it hit me... and I began thinking about all of Art's "lasts"...

The last time he took a shower.

The last meal he ate.

The last phone call he was on.

The last time he said "I love you."

The last time someone told him "I love you."
