imma take it that HW and Keith are just..upset/distraught that their friend has passed on ans are lashing out in their grief..but they both sound like they are becoming vastly unhinged

...or their bankroll disappeared is causing the hostility.

Wanna hear about a bunch of backstabbing nastiness, Elvis's crew supposedly had some issues.  So did JFKs gang, I think.  Maybe RFK.  Long time since I heard that.

Ew.

In other news,

R. Lee Ermey, a Golden Globe-nominated actor best known for his role as Gunnery Sgt. Hartman in Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket, has died.

Ermey, whose nickname was "The Gunny," died Sunday morning from complications of pneumonia. He was 74.

I loved that movie.  His performance inspired me to join the military (albeit, the Canadian one).  However, what looks hilarious on the movie screen depicting the rigours  of basic training is a lot less funny when it happens to you.  My master corporal was a humourless asshole who screamed like a demonic banshee without any of the panache and wit of the Great Gunny.  He flipped my bunk bed after finding an eyebrow hair while yelling “THERE IS A F****ING PUBE IN YOUR BED!!!!! YEEAAARRRGGGHHH!!!!’” during morning inspection at one point.

20+ years later, I still fantasize about going to his house in the dead of night and giving him a blanket party raining down several blows with a hockey stick.

I guess my anecdote about military basic training is hilarious looking back in retrospect.

A while back I remember someone was putting together a master collection of all the old Art Bell shows.   Various people were collaborating to make it as complete as possible.    Where can I download that whole collection of the old show audio files?   I never did download it but now with Art's passing, its making me think I should get it before its no long available.    Thanks.
