Wow, not what I would have expected this character to look like.  I figured he'd looked like Grandpa Simpson, but more demented.

I have just received a PM from Col. Pate Manly.

Not Sure what it means, but in the interests of full sobriety I post it/that note in it's full binary form (crossing fingers that it isn't lame):

Ha!  I forget who the guest was, but recently Dave told him that surgeons often prefer a complete break to a fracture.  There was a pause before the guest figured out how to respond to that without making Dave look like the simpleton that he is.

I notice many of those guest pauses in their conversation with Dave.  They don't want to argue with him or correct him or make him look like more of a fool, and they cannot get over how he can hold on to a show for so long yet be so clueless.

Jorch, this is only a prostate test, Jorch.

It goes to show you that you can't judge a book by its cover. Now I'm wondering if my insurance agent or tax preparer is really, by night, a crazy C2C guest with wild theories and a side-business of reading palms or something!

Oh happy happy joy joy, Jorch has a new book coming out. And it's a novel. I wonder who did the actual writing, because I sure as shit know that Jorch is not capable of writing a novel. And he's the only person listed on the cover as the "writer."

The blurb on Coast's website:

George Noory's new novel "Night Talk" will be released this July, and is now available for pre-order. The thriller features the character of Greg Nowell, a late night talk show host who tackles controversial subjects, from angels to aliens and government agencies deep in shadow and fog. Greg's mouth explodes when he stupidly swallows some piping hot pizza rolls, and dies an ignominious death when his fat henchman is unable to rush him to the hospital on time. Greg would have called 911 himself, but he isn't capable of wiping his ass without his henchman Tim Dumhiser.

Usually I like the Merlin Project guys, but anybody who think Obama is some kind of dictator is insane. If he was, those idiots in Oregon would have been taken out by now.

I wonder who Noory's ghost writer is for this one?
Any ideas, Nancy Birnes?  8)

I'm sure the writer will come forward and take a bow.

Whatever happened to the novel about a time traveler Noory talked about coming out soon, years ago?  ::)

Jorch's level of self-delusion that he's an entertainer knows no bounds.
Lucky there appeared to be only a handful of folks from the local homeless shelter in attendance :(

In response to the video of Dave singing, I rarely drink before 5:00 pm EST. I have a bar in my office and I just had a shot. THAT was the worst attempt at singing I have ever witnessed.

LOVE the avatar. And if you were horrified by Noory embarrassing himself at someone's backyard barbecue, do NOT google the words "Noory sings" and "Toronto".

Well, if you mean he hasn't assumed complete and permanent power, that's true.  Those people in Oregon don't mean a thing to him.  That situation isn't the yardstick, he's going to mostly ignore them and stick to his agenda.

But look at just some of his most recent actions.  His Iran deal, unilaterally removing sanctions without agreement from Congress and not submitting the treaty for 2/3 Senate approval - he says it's 'an agreement', not a treaty.  Unilaterally opening diplomatic relations with Cuba without obtaining the required legislation.  Ignoring immigration laws he doesn't like, and bypassing Congress to implement others.  Bringing in thousands of Syrian refugees without Congressional approval.  Just for starters.

A fundamental cornerstone of our system is separation of powers.  Checks and balances.  This man ignores the courts, bypasses the Congress, claims authority he doesn't have.  His current agenda item is unilaterally issuing new gun laws - he says Congress has had their chance to act, but hasn't so he will.  That's not how it works.  Congress isn't obligated to do anything.  As far as legislative action, a President doesn't have the power to do more than sign Executive Orders to indicate his priorities and implement regulations to codify details of existing legislation.  He has no authority to issue EO's and regs that are in conflict with existing law, or that go beyond it.  A President has no authority to make new law, and takes an oath to uphold the laws we do have.

Is he a 'dictator'?  His conduct is certainly dictatorial.

What fresh hell is this?!?    GNS

It's someone whoring themselves out (hey, I guess the bills have to get paid somehow) to the Snoroid to write Noory's sad fantasy about himself. Cuz you know the main character is loosely based on the One Neuron Noron.

So add "Greg Nowell" to Norry's list of aliases. Published in hardcover even  :o. How many are being pre-ordered by the publishing company, Dexter Monterrey, or iHateMedia? Or does Lisa pressure guests, "you want on the show- you better pre-order 10 copies."
