Yeah but he mentions all the time about "helping out" family members. Which is good and fine that he does it- but the way he says it I think he resents doing it. He clearly wants the audience to think he is nice and helps people (he "throws the homeless guy a $20" etc) but at the same time will use serious/sad events, like his sister's (I think it was a sister) brain cancer death, as an almost throw-away line to a guest! I'm sure he really is sad about that but sometimes he cavalierly throws that out. And the "charitable foundation," to help the disabled, elderly etc listeners he was always mentioning for months a while back never has appeared.

Some people don't like to talk about their families or show their personal feelings.  I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on that one.

Wow, thanks for mentioning it, I'm checking some of it out now. It is quite something to look at! Why does he bother to keep coming back here? Geez--the man must love tormenting himself! Or maybe it is his own self-hate coming to the surface which he was clearly in denial of while attending 'The School of Positive Thinking and Blind Optimism' (metaphorical name). But seriously it must be all those lectures he's attended and heard about quantum consciousness, spiritual enlightenment, and the like...all those Wayne Dyers and Deepak Chopras, the Hay House whores, it probably reaches back through time all the way back to Madame Helena Blavatsky and the theosophical movement and his Ant Shafica Dracula.

If we had mental disabilities and people kept depressing us by 'getting real' concerning our abilities, maybe we'd be interested in such things, too.  Art made all topics seem interesting.  A good host is almost instinctive, and can often home in on whatever is of value in a one-dimensional guest, so you still leave knowing that thinking you learned something. 

Returning may be difficult for Art.  He once had a team behind him that worked well together.  A lot of guests have died and Noory's show will be a bit more competition, although I hope Art buries him.

I offered to George Noory my collection of Twilight Zone comic books that contained articles on paranormal stories, but he hasn't responded to me.  If you want them Art, I'd be willing to send them to you, maybe with the return that you mention the articles on the air occasionally, of course, I don't want you to mention me.

There is an old saying abut there being too many cooks in the kitchen, but Dave couldn't make something without injuring himself... so helpers are on standby. Art on the otherhand is a master chef, and can do a lot wth very little.
