     Always ready to improve upon the English language, George ditches the word "focusing" for "focaling".  Yes.  Much better.  Dr. Fred Bell has that shaky, nervous, voice I don't trust, and saying things like "George, you are a great interviewer" doesn't help his credibility at all.  Somehow they got on the subject of police car chases and George wondered why the government doesn't use it's drone technology to "blow them up".  That, along with his comments last week on why we didn't nuke everybody after WWII, leads me to believe ole George may have an anger issue.  Still, I do like the idea of ending a car chase with a missile.  I'd pay extra taxes to fund that program.
    Johnny Cash was cool.  But his cover of Bob Dylan's It Ain't Me Babe (bumper music) is a disaster.

I woke up at some ungawdly hour last night and stuck the earbud in to hear what's shaking on dipswitch's neato show- just in time to catch Cash's "It Ain't Me Babe."   I love that version, precisely because there's something wrong about it, especially in the middle of the night.  It's almost like hearing Noorwussy in a drunken sing-along with Robert the haunted doll.  Isn't it?

I was able to stay awake long enough to hear Elmer Fudd massacre logic and conversational English several times in rapid succession, but it was so stupid that I couldn't remember it sufficiently to take notes.

But clearly, it's pretty bad when the high points of a radio program are the bumper music and the inspired levels of stupidity.

Last night's guest was 'Dr. Fred Bell.'

He talked a lot about holographic technology. A couple of times, Noory said 'holocaust' instead of 'hologram.'

Also, maybe my ears decieved me, but I swear he said 'Art Bell' and not 'Fred Bell' once when he was going to a break.

Know what?  I thought I heard that too, but can't stomach to hear the replay yet.  Maybe we're both wiggin' out.  After a while though, everything snuffy says sounds mushy and it just drips out of my brain like snot through warm butter.

Anyway back to the name game.  I just love it how people can still come together as a community and bitchslap Noory because it's fun!

while he might sound like an alcoholic on a nightly basis, i'm not aware of any evidence that he actually IS one.  just wanted to throw that out there for the purpose of avoiding legal action.

    William Thomas talking about how cell phones are frying our brains.  No shit.  One day these teenagers are gonna pull their noses up from the constant texting and realize that they've learned nothing, and that their friends never had anything interesting to say to begin with.  It is so friggin annoying.  And, yeah, it's an addiction.  Jeffery Grupp said he was an empiricist (big word for George), which I thought meant basing your beliefs on evidence, yet this guy was all over the place, believing all sorts of stuff that there really isn't any evidence for, but he was interesting, and his personality carried the show.  Is George going to do his, "something's weird, people are weird, everybody is weird, theres something weird going on," rant every night?
