     This Richard Sauder guy was a gem.  First he goes into a long antiwar speech that actually ended with old "what if they had a war and nobody showed up?" routine.  Add to that his truther comments, more whining about those evil Bilderburgs, and how the world religions are just brain washing tools, and all of the callers praising his courage, and George's unwillingness to challenge him, and about the only thing I liked about him was that he had recently been arrested for trespassing on a government facility and spent three months in jail.  I guess he believes this stuff.  I'll give him that.

Even more chilling was when someone called in last week asking what kind of music George likes, and after the usual Billy Gibbons reference, and some real uninmaginative answers like the Beatles and Elvis, he said "Whitesnake........that's a greeeeat baaaand!" It reminded me of the scene if "Office Space" where the consultant was praising Michael Bolton's music.

OK fans....just when you thought that C2C had reached the bottom equivalent to whatever oozes at the bottom of an outhouse on the Ohio Turnpike.....I heard the final half hour last night (8/13/10) and it defied human explanation as to why anyone would broadcast such horseshit.
My words cannot relay to you what my ears had the unfortunate experience to grasp. This turd has taken one of the most influential, listened to radio programs in the history of the planet and turned it into a freakin' smorgasbord for reprobates.
Let me attempt to provide for you what now, a George Noory Coast to Coast show provides for us all:
-Some idiot who's radio speaker is disconnected but was inspired enough to call in to tell everybody
-A lady who found it pertinent to tell everyone she won $150 playin' bingo ("You won it playing Bingo?", Snoory exclaimed)
-Then came this call (obviously planted) that maybe, and I hope, someone else can explain to us all. It was so bad it interrupted my coitus for the week.
-Then Jizzum Brain ended the show with, you know, that song...the worst song ever recorded in the history of mankind. Yeah...that one!
After 27 some odd years of listening to this show when Art was host, it has been hard for me to swallow this idiot, night after night with short respites on the weekends. Venting at this website has helped me cope, no doubt. But, I really don't think I can take listening any longer, my friends, after what I heard last night. I held out hope long enough.
Snoory is truly the Anti-Christ. And if he isn't...he surely wipes his ass.

     ...So I'm not really paying too much attention to last nights show when this guy calls and says he's blind, and he just went online this week for the first time in his life, and he was digging it, and his speakers stopped working, and he's trying to fix it, but its hard, because he's blind, and George tells him to make sure they're plugged in, and maybe George might send someone out to fix them, and all this time I'm wondering, how does a blind guy use the internet?  I'm sure everybody who was listening, who had sight, was wondering the same thing.  Do you think George was wondering that?  No. George didn't give a hoot.  Didn't even cross his mind to ask.  Why follow up on something like that?  Play the ufo phil song.  It's over.

Here's what you might have missed. I cannot believe I wasted my time listening to this crap (couldn't sleep). If nothing else, I got a few laughs out of it.

Some woman called in from Massachsetts. Of course, George had to disregard what the call was pertaining to in order to share that his mother was from a town in that state. So he says (paraphrasing here) "So you must be east of Fitchburg." The woman replied something like, "No, I'm west of Fitchburg." So Snoory says, "Oh, the OTHER west." Excuse me? What the hell does THAT mean? 

Then it was priceless when some guy called in about an instance where another guy saved his life. He goes on to explain that the guy who saved him was a "furry", which influenced him to become on also. So how does Snoory respond? "Good for you" sort of mumbling because he obviously had no idea what the guy meant by that, followed by his favorite thing to do when he's stymied (which is most of the time), changes the subject to something totally irrelevant. 

In the future when I'm unable to sleep, I will take a sleeping pill instead of listening to Snoory.

     I was kind of looking forward to Joshua P. Warren's report on Robert the Haunted Doll to find out if he had been chased around the museum (in Florida, where it is displayed) with a butcher knife by the little booger.  But beyond a few strange occurrences, there was no mayhem.  As a gift to George, Mr. Warren mailed another doll that was kept stored at the same museum (according to the museum director, the doll had expressed it's desire to be with George Noory) to George's L.A. studio where Producer Tom was.  George was in St. Louis and watched Tom unpack the doll via a web cam, and when George saw that it was a doll he said, "I'm not keeping it", "get it out of there."  Later a caller said she would be glad to take possesion of the doll, and George instructed Tom to get her information.
     You could tell Joshua P. was a little surprised and disappointed in George, and so was I.  I don't think I would have wanted psycho doll around me either, but if I had a few million people listening in on me I think I would have at least thanked Mr. Warren, and then prooceed to handle things in a more diplomatic manner.  George said that this reminded him of his "ouija board show".  That would be the Ouija board show that never happened.
     During open lines somebody called in to discuss the Tower of Babel, of which George said:  "I believe the Tower of Babel was some sort of missile launcher that was destroyed by someone who didn't want it built...or some natural event...something happened."
     Yeah.  Something happened.  You got that right.

Needless to say, I have a very low opinion of Noory. For the past year or so, I rarely listen to a show hosted by him. Many of the guests/topics he has on are just not what I want from C2C. And when he does have a guest/topic I'm interested in, he just destroys the interview with his idiotic comments, lame questions, lack of follow-up when warranted, etc., etc.

Noory is simply INCAPABLE of asking an intelligent question. And I'm sick of his idiotic comments and poor grasp of the English language. How can someone like that host a national radio show???!!!

For over a year now I've fantasized about a way to mute his voice and be able to listen only to what the guest has to say. 

Thank goodness I have lots of Art Bell shows on mp3. And I look forward to the live shows Art hosts occasionally. Heck, Art could read the dictionary, and somehow he would make it sound interesting.

My grandfather displayed a lot of the same behavior and thought patterns that Noory has now (non sequiturs, inability to follow logic, conversational curve balls, changing topics rapidly, inappropriate responses) just before he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.  So there may be an actual reason why he's like that and getting progressively worse.  George, if you read this, go get your head checked out man!

you know something... I own a cc radio, and I find it to be just another overpriced piece of chinese shit.  The chassi is woefully sub par for the price, it has no flash memory for long term preset storage when power is absent for extended periods, the settings are poorly conceived and laid out, and last but not least... I find the AM reception to be unimpressive in comparison with other receivers I own or have used. C- for a receiver at that price.

Yeah, when he first started, I was one of those giving him a chance. And he wasn't too bad back then. But after a couple of years, I realized that he was a phony - he didn't care about most of the core C2C topics and was clueless. Even the topics he claimed to be interested in, he was ignorant of the basics. So I thought, Fine, he's an ignorant phony, but as long as he can conduct a decent interview...  But then he started getting worse.

His moronic comments, mispronunciations, misuse of words/phrases, etc., began to bother me so much that I had trouble concentrating on what the guest was saying. He totally ruined the listening experience.
