To be fair and objective, it was a recounting of something he did when younger. He went on to talk about the "karmic backlash" that resulted and how that was a bad thing to do. So it's a cautionary tale of sorts. On one hand it's refreshing honesty (if it happened that way); on the other it does provide an interesting look into the psyche of the way George handles his perceived "enemies" or rivals in times of stress (see the past two months and the tactics Coast used against Dark Matter and Art).

Yeah, my question was about to be - what is the context here?

Hey!  Got the Bell Gab email today as I missed the show last night.  What a bummer!

I finally heard the segment and though that you HAVE to be joking... I cannot believe any of this anymore.  He actually called in, had a conversation, poked fun of himself a little ("Here is how you know it is me: How are Yooouu?") and stayed for awhile.  How... how is it possible that Art is upset and leaving while Dave is here conversing?  It takes a lot to shake my world even a little... this has finally done it.

I suppose I could go update the "Noory is awesome" thread.  So far I have only posted there that I am in awe of the hair- now I am stuck (yes, stuck, as I really hate to do it) to admit that coming here, posting here and calling into the show while maintaining some degree of humour is impressive.

This does NOT mean that I have stopped believing that George sucks... but give credit where it is due.

What part of jorchie being a phony do u not get? Correct..."he came off" as a good guy. It's an act. You have to remember what he's done. He's a dirtbag. Can't wait to tell us how great a guy he is all the time.  I am just not buying it. When u do good things you just don't go around blowing ur own horn, it negates the whole thing. P.S. in other news SXM showing their true colors. Screwing Opie and Anthony the boys it seems listening to them today will be going the podcast route AFTER their contract runs out. SXM is all about the "Hoo Hoo." Art see this the way to do it is just play it out...have to fulfill the contract,  the fans (subs) bail and or scream and yell but you look good and or right, SXM is the bad guys and wrong...u do the podcast/stream.

Hear, hear.  Truer words have never been spoken.  He sucks.  Especially with the guest poaching and then playing Ride My See Saw followed up with We Are the Champions right after Art's departure.  Also, the other night some caller said sorry for my bad call quality, and then George said something to the effect of don't worry about your call quality, I don't make a big deal about it like other talk show hosts, which sounded like a swipe at Art.
