George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Started by MV/Liberace!, April 06, 2008, 01:23:02 AM

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No
No

I read about "channeling," and a whole rendition of it as if the actor can and will perform the act.  I really thinks that person could be a guest on Coast. Reads authentic enough.  Then, as a side note maybe a pep talk about upping the interviews could be discussed, during the long, extended breaks?

Heh heh. I remember when I first read Eddie Coyle's similar description of a bucket. I felt a lot like your gif, and thought, "this Coyle guy is exceptionally pissed off and disgusted."

It really takes me back to the georgenoorysucks.com days.

there's a reason for the neverending carousel of dippy women peddling woo on the show, they and their subject matters are inane and that is Noory's strong suit, he is on their level and he can spend 2 hours asking idiotic questions without taxing his seldom used brain. His obsession with babies is fucking creepy, there's always a baby question,  tonight's was 'Can you put a curse on a baby?'

He wrapped up the show again with some words of comfort for a troubled world and played out with an uplifting song he called 'The most important song I've heard in a long time'  It was 'Somewhere There's A Place For Us' from the 1950's Broadway musical West Side Story.

God never made a bigger idiot. Seriously.
I got a good laugh about the "can you put a curse on a baby?" question. I thought the first guest was really patronizing Jorch Norway and would just sigh and reanswer Mr.Norway's repeated questions and just allow Mr.Norway to speculate and brag on his theories of "breaking the news" of the Corona-Chan.

Just last week George had an articulate guest who stated that genuine exorcists work for the good of humanity, and do not sell their services. So, of course, tonight Mr. Norway brings us a charlatan selling exorcisms.

But on the 'glass half full' side we also get to enjoy "Pharmacist Ben" hawking whatever MLM supplements that Mr.Norway is involved with!

I hope Mr.Norway asks the for-hire-exorcist if babies can be possessed and if he has ever done an exorcist on a baby- maybe a really mean baby.

Right now there is so god awful much painful carny barking and product pitching.

And just exactly what mysterious hold does tonight's guest cosmetic chemist, have over C2C?
Is Noory/someone being blackmailed or just massive kickbacks rolling through the company?

" ... we also get to enjoy "Pharmacist Ben" hawking whatever MLM supplements that Mr.Norway is involved with!" probably explains it.

Putrid.

Dave Norway “let’s his hair toupee down,” goes crazy and closes the show with this.

Dave, yeeewww wild man, yeeewww.

I counted seven regular callers last night, and it wasn't even open lines. If that doesn't tell you how much listener volume is down, than this surely does: Tommy now has to beg on the air for new submerging artists. Even folks desperate for fame don't want to be associated with C2C.

George has a new fixation: the "create your own reality" idea he can stop the disintegration of the United States by ending his show playing 60+ year old songs. It has me on pins-and-needles wondering how far back into time he will reach. Last night was a bonus because the song linked to two of Mr. Norway's interests: JFK and the Chairman of the Board.

It's too bad you never got to see the man sing in person. I think you would have enjoyed that.

It is weird. Dave Norway often doesn't even let his guest finish- or in some cases start- their stories. He always cuts to a break and then upon return that thread of potential conversation is over and the questions have moved on to his formulaic "how do you do what do?" "when you get into this, I mean you are really into this?" "where can we buy your book?" Gee, really. Amazon? I never would've guessed that. Good use of airtime.

The cryptid guy last night was about to go into some details but was cut off. And then he would mention a Cryptid in passing as if all listeners already knew the story. And Norway, as always, goes into their other books or works and not in the subject. Must be frustrating for guests also who are trying to sell their latest book.

I actually don’t mind some Sinatra but that song sucks.  I’d prefer listening to this guy over Sinatra, though.

Bobby Darin has a better voice to my ears. I got to see the man sing twice  (norway) and I never recorded it... My mistake.

Streiber was his usual wonderful self. Sleep inducing but very like the old days. Dave Norway told him "if there is anything we can do" and appreciated his longevity etc. Likely means he will be the next guest to be kicked to the curb. Norway made ZERO mention of Peter Davenport and the other guy did a weak UFO report.

Oddly Dave Norway was more excited about some cos-playing "vampyre" who makes fake teeth.s And even allowed talk about blood drinking, trannies, condoms, "dental dams," and homosexuality and commented "you are what you are" or "you do what you do" or something along those lines. A family show.

The "Father" Sebastian also was very pleased that the Austrian Lutheran Church and then some Roman Catholic Priest let them rent buildings and for him to hold a funeral and other occult services, Dave Norway wholeheartedly agreed- good Catholic boy that he is. The usual 'spiritual' vs 'religious' stuff by Norway, was commented on. But I think they really bonded because the "Father" is LA-based and holds parties "all over the world," even though Dave Norway doesn't travel but also had common friend in Rosemary Ellen Guiley- who purportedly was going do the Vampyre's biography but died too early.

I wonder if Dave Norway knew Ellen from his Michigan days (she was from the UP) or just  later on when the ghostwriting and radio programs happened?

First Half: Part time host of Coast to Coast AM, Ian Punnett, is ordained to the Holy Order of the Diaconate in the Episcopal Church in America, and a professor of mass communication and journalism at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. He'll discuss his latest work teaming up with an Israeli-born rabbi and a Pakistani-born Muslim scholar, attempting to synthesize the religious views of Judaism, Islam, and Christianity into one unified, harmonious voice singing a single hymn.

Good luck with that.

Episcopalians are always trying to turn Christianity into everything else. They would try to “harmonize” Satanism with Christianity too. ::)

Maybe Ian can contact Father Sebastian and get Vampyrism also into this wonderful ecumenical council.

BTW: apparently Rosemary Ellen Guiley was a Vampire! According to Father Sebastian. Norway thought that was wonderful.

I contacted Peter, he says all is well and the site will be updated soon.  As for C2C, all he said was, "They decided that they wanted someone else for UFO updates."

Pretty classy of Peter to not air George's dirty laundry.

I have decided I want someone else to host Coast instead of Norway, Snorway.  Yes, pretty classy of me.

You removed my UFO idol, you should be sent to pasture, too.

Thanks for the update. Glad he is doing well.

I am not being critical of Keven Randle, he is a very nice, cordial and knowledgeable ufologist and researcher.  I have met him and his wife at a UFO conference in the past.

My preference is just to the style of Peter Davenport who lives it, breathes it, and has a uniqueness all of his own.  I would tune in just to hear him, now I don't bother.  There are too many other things competing for my time.  I just enjoyed Mr. Davenport, and if you no longer enjoy something since they removed him, don't do it, that is turn on Coast during the week.

Pretty classy of Snorge just to pretend Davenport is now a nonentity.

Cue it up head of syndication at Premiere!  Peter Davenport should be brought forward as a weekend host of Coast when Richard Syrett takes over.

Yeah, I think he’s probably the best in the field along with Clyde Lewis. Sadly, I rarely find the time to listen to either these days but always enjoy it (depending on the topic at hand) when I do.

My problem with Randle is he claims he didn't know his writing partner (Don Schmidt) lied about his education and occupation. If true, why didn't he know? That tells me he's incredibly gullible, and/or his "reseach" has little depth.  Neither are positive characteristics of someone claiming to write about topics like UFOs.  How can anything writes be considered credible?

I also think it's disingenuous of him to hide behind the phony PhD he bought from the west coast diploma mill.
