Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No

LOL!  That would be cool.  I could see Ian doing it too.  Do you think Noory even knows who Weird Al is?
Judging from his cloistered and ethnic upbringing and tastes I would suspect Norry would be more familiar with Frankie Yankovic.  who admittedly was an awesome accordionist but is no relation to Weird Al!

(BTW, George Noory's aunt Shafica Karagulla was a member of the Bene Gesserit. I'm just sayin'.

Dune. Full tilt.)

George being a complete dick about it. The guest has said his name begins with R. “So it could be Robert?” Says Noory, “It could be.”
The guest has allowed himself to be pushed further than he should, revealing he worked at NASA.
Back comes Noory later. “So it could be Richard, or Reginald.....” like your annoying 8 year old nephew. Yes, Joorch, or any other name beginning with R. Really being annoying, not to say unprofessional.

The lowest of George's many lows in his C2C tenure.  Bravo to the guest for putting George in his place with the "can I give out your home address" gambit.

George Noory, ace reporter! He will hold those goddamned initials accountable!

This mission obsession is in his blood.

And then he says goodbye to guest, who had the class to claim he enjoyed the awful interviewing style of Norry, and then Norry says the unredacted name of the boy with glee.
And then says Cheryl Jones on next about "bees." He says "bees" again in the lead after commercial break. It isn't about bees is about hornets. Asian Hornets that can kill bees. Norry is so dumb, or just lazy.

Yeah, I heard that.  Reprehensible.

and later on he repeatedly said the hornet's nest had "queen bees"  :o

George was exuberant when he described a python swallowing a human whole, head-first. I knew he would follow with a child-killed-by-python story, but it was not the one I thought he would tell: 2013, python escaped pet store through ventilation shaft and killed seven and five-year-old, sleeping in upstairs apartment. I know he knows that story, because he read it in one of his news segments. Apparently George's brain is now so spongy, he can't recollect his favorite morbid tails.

A caller in Washington said his hive was decimated by the Japanese hornet. The guest asked some questions I really wanted the caller to answer...but nope...she and George started a back-and-forth, and I knew the caller would be disappeared...which he was.

At this point, we could probably bring a class action lawsuit against Noory for being one  negligent son-of-a-bitch.

Negligent and lackadaisical bastard.

A caller just brought up the movie "Forbidden Planet"
Noory said the original not a remake, but there has not ever been a remake!
Also Noory said the old "black and white" one, but this movie was in 1956 and in full color, widescreen! :o
Maybe Noory only watched it years ago on his old black&white TV set...

Noory is worried, he heard regular caller Cornelius has been sick.
Barry told him that he his getting better though.

oh dear the Sad Pack is falling apart. Creepy ol' buddy ol' pal of mine Barry from North Carolina confirmed that Cornelius is sick but not with Covid19 and expects Corny will call in tonight and give everybody an update. Creepy Barry remains obsessed with the biologist guest from the other night and repeated his lame joke laughing uproariously. He had just spoken to Mike the Millennial a half hour previous to his call.
Jorch expressed some worry about Thomas from La Jolla whom he hasn't heard from lately. Please keep them all in your thoughts and prayers, we cannot afford to lose any of these people!

Jorch also on the fly came up a new segment for the show that he will do a couple times a year 'Talk to Tommy' - Tom will take questions about his own life for 20 minutes.

Tommy asked George how his life has changed during the pandemic. Of course George's answer was predictably without anything remotely interesting in it - 'I just keep working Tom, watch a little TV, and pay my bills etc'  Tommy is far more interesting, he says he has been looking at his baseball card collection during the lockdown.

Barry also continued with his lie that he has copyrighted 'ol' buddy ol' pal of mine'.

And now Louise is on the air and she credits Noory for her 'reaching a higher Cleopatra level'.

Open lines absolutely is definitive proof for the Law of Attraction - moron radio show host attracts nothing but other morons to call in

Jorch sounded like he was getting a hard on when he was taking about the python and kid story, of course.  I got a laugh when Jorch came up with one of his off the wall questions and asked Cheryl about pets she had as a child.  Jorch had to mention his turtles and hamsters.  A wall-slamming, hamster-stomping good time.

I wonder if Jorch has ever even watched "Forbidden Planet." It may be too risque for him, since it has the word "forbidden" and a scantily dressed Anne Francis.  Ma Noory no doubt forbid it.  The Twilight Zone is about as wild as Jorch gets.

Ha!  Jorch watching the tube, with a little salami, convenience store turkey sandwiches, and lots of the grape. ;D At least Tommee has a hobby.

Sounded like Noory was thinking of the movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still" which was in b&w and had a remake.  He gets confused apparently between old sci-fi movies...

For a person for whom everything is movie-based he often gets the details of movies wrong.  Every situation, guest, subject, or story Norry compares to a movie. But he doesn't even often know the correct name of the movie, the actors, or the  major plots, etc.

I can't think of a subject that Norry doesn't eventually compared to some movie. Whether paranormal, astronomy, religion, UFO, history, politics, angels, time-travel- whatever it always comes down to comparing with some movie or asking guest about a movie on that subject. And then when the SUBJECT of the show is about movies, he still often gets details wrong or just tells the same anecdotes about movies "My mom sat me down and said 'Georgie, you are going to watch this movie," and so on.

From his bio:
"Before his endeavors into the medical arena, Christian was an independent song writer and record producer"

Note: caution there is another, apparently more popular, Christian Wilde who is a homo porn star. I wonder how many shut-in cat ladies were searching for Wilde's magical medicine page after listening and got a shock?

JoJo didn't add to her posts for her never ending love of Jorch's bumper music so you might be on to something.  ;D

Are you listening, Doc Wallet, veterinarian?

Doc Wallet is a naturopathic physician. Went to school in Portland. In his book, he said his nick name at naturopathic college was: Conan the veterinarian.

He needs to stop telling stupid angst-ridden stuff and be more respectful of the dead.  Especially in the first year.  I don't think any animal that dies should have their death as entertainment value on a national radio show over & over & over.  They died horribly, and they deserve to be remembered with honor, not belittlement.  In the first year after someone dies, especially if you knew them, it really doesn't matter who was whose first interview.  That is irrelevant and should wait until the grief is processed.  Because it is a form of gloating.  Maybe like Dave says, "If it bleeds, it leads" but that simply should not be true on Coast to Coast AM radio.

Last night Gnoory advocated lifting all COVID restrictions and allowing the virus to do its worst on the general population. Well done, George. Perhaps the overworked and terrified staffs of COVID treatment centers across the nation were listening. They're already struggling with short supply of PPE and respirators.

You've heard of the concept of Public Service Radio, right?? I think Gnoory just invented Public Nuisance Radio.

Every notice the vast majority of those with whom George discusses COVID agree with his dubious theories relative to the disease?  And of course, he knows their positions before they are invited on.  But what's most disturbing is he has not had a legitimate medical doctor on to discuss COVID.  He's had lawyers, economists, political pundits, and woo woos, but no medical doctors.  The closest he's had was an epidemiologist, and she made George sound more stupid than usual.  After she talked over his foolishness and corrected him early on, he was very meek and didn't challenge her again.  Then in typical cowardly fashion, after she rang off, but just before they cut away at the top of the hour, he made a comment inferring her opinions were no better than his.

I note that Norry seems to be more testy than usual. And very petty. His usual tactic is when he doesn't agree with a guest, or caller, to end the segment and then chime in with his commentary to end the call, with no reply back possible by the guest (or caller.)

He did this with the epidemiologist who was talking some sense. And then he says his usual mantra- no worse than flu, immune system, test open city, made in lab, etc (refuting most of what she said. ) I'm ok with contrary ideas and thinking but have some other experts on also. And there are other factors to consider during pandemic besides health so having non-doctor experts or guests on is ok. But debate them fairly. And then, most obvious, he did it with the Exorcist guest when Norry repeated the first name of the victim (after the author was saying all segment that he wants to protect the identity.)

He also is ducking out early more often than usual and playing the same, awful replays. I guess his management is ok with this but would a normal business be happy with an employee who so frequently ducks out early? Without coming in early? Without doing a good job and trying to improve? Especially one who appears to be using the job to make money for his own side projects, in this case MLM supplement business, live 'big events,' and dating apps.

Sure, if he has an economist on, he should talk about the effect of COVID-19 on the economy, not about his silly "no worse than the flu" commentary.  Same with a pundit, talk about political impacts.
